Cheap SAAB 95 Aero Gets NEW GLASS And DEEP CLEANING

- The SAAB 95 Aero restoration seems like it may go on forever. It just keeps getting nicer and nicer with each iteration. We're going to finish the detail, interior and exterior, then top it off with a brand new windshield. The old windshield had tons of cracks throughout the center and replacing it along with the rain sensor mount made the car feel much nicer. Next up, crank position sensor and tons of interior parts to get it perfect.

That’s a nice car there. Glad to see it still going
How about you sell it back to Sweden? And even to it's "home town" Trollhättan! We have a Saab festival every year and the "official" Saab museum is also located here.
My absolute dream car. Fantastic to see one in good condition and in good hands.
Here in Sweden these cars are often rusty due to the salty roads we often have during winter.
Greetings from Sweden! 😊
Dude, do you ever stop??? - been wanting to see progress on this but Rolls Smoke has been so much fun to watch. Guess that’s why it’s “Watch JR Go...”
Finally the Saab again! :) please keep doing some more Euro cars, :)
Couldn't sleep so I open youtube hoping for a video from jr or another person.
Awesome. But why not do the windshield first then the detailing
You should add a Saab page to your playlist. Good info in these videos
Damn I’ve been waiting for this since I commented about it in the first vid of the 95 Aero! Great content, great car.
Saab videos are pretty cool
Man this saab 9-5 is fricken amazing hope you keep it
Wheeler Dealer rule #1: don't fall in love with your inventory.
@@terrylessmann2274 yes, I flipped cars and my Saab still hasn't left after 4 years
@shaun king Saabs last pretty well!
I’m here for the Saab ;).
Proud ‘06 9-5 owner
I just bought an 02 9-5 aero wagon two weeks ago, watch out for transmission issues the 02 models have problems with TCM’s and valve bodies. Have dealt with both so far as I have two 02 9-5s an aero and a V6
Yay! A new SAAB episode!
I loved my Saab! when it wasn't broken haha I had a blue turbo viggen. Had endless electrical problems that could usually be solved by opening then slamming the hood. If that didn't work repeat.
My kinda car!!!
Great car. Love Swedish cars. I would keep it as a daily. Much better than the BMW.
Love the SAAB content!
Glad to see the channel blowing up JR. Sweet
This Saab is a keeper.
Feels good to get car professionally washed / detailed. Need to get it done more often.
Those cars are so precious. Thank you for saving it! Fantastic cars! You discover more and more of their super practical engineering the more you drive. You should clean the seats too. Use an all purpose cleaner and magic eraser. You’ll se. Also do the steering wheel like that. Everything should be matt finish.
Thank you again for the Saab content! 🙏
Uncle Tony gave you a helluva shout-out! You da MAN!
Was just about to go to bed and JR posted. Must....watch.....JRGo!
S V I was just about to leave the gym and I had it on going to the other gym to shower
Thank you JR for reviving this black beauty SAAB, just look at it indeed!
Looks like Dave's Detailing is the place to go.
Looks so good, great job saving the Saab!
I love having a clean windshield in my car, it is so great at night.
Love the Saab content!!!
Satisfying watching that detailing sesh - the Saab looks amazing. Love this channel
To the Saab community, these cars are loved soo much, I've had 8 and missed driving one so bad I bought a nice one yesterday, a 93 Convertible, and its sticker price was 47,895 and it was made in 2005....and it is defiantly not built cheap. it has some options that aren't even on new cars...and it has 78k miles on it..and will drive for another 10 years...or more.
Thank you so much for creating content on the cars I love :) 🥰❤️🚗
I miss the extended blooper rolls at the end, i feel a little short-changed, LOL! Srsly, i really like the out-takes.
Restorations are awesome.
I hope this gets featured again on your channel soon- I have 4 9-5 wagons that I love, feel free to hit me up with any questions, after 10 years owing them I’ve done just about everything.
That's a car to keep! Just awesome!
It looks a lot better thanks for the content and keep up the brilliant work
The SAAB looks great. Your giving us another SAAB story!
I pushed a Saab 9000 onto and off of a ferry to Ireland many moons ago. They are heavy.
Extraction so satisfying
Geeeez! That looks awesome! I got the dehumidifier running in my first flip of 2020. Hopefully I’ll make enough to do the next one!
Love to see all the work going into the SAAB!
Best way to get the deep floormat dirt out is soak them in a tub of soapy water for a couple hours and then power spray them at a car wash on the wall hangers that some of them provide. The crap that comes out is amazing. A good carpet cleaner to recondition the pile. Leave them flat in the sun for a couple of days to dry out the backing. Good to go.
Back to black is a lifesaver!
I'm really glad to see this car get some love...:)
Hope you keep this one after all this work! It's looking great.
Awesome detail job wish there was folks like that arose here
Wow JR looking GOOD
Hello to everyone! Hope you have great night! After watching JR!
Love it. I think I may need to buy a saab again. Let me know if you plan to sell it.
A watchjrgo video and a detail video all rolled up into one? How did I get so lucky?
Every day I look at your subs and every new video you go up by at least 1k good effort smashing the videos out!
Looks so much better, hoping this one is a keeper.
Good looking automobile!!
Yes!!! More Saab content plzzzzz
That’s a really nice car!!
Great video
I had the same problem with the crank position sensor on a 2001 95. Manuals tell you to remove exhaust piping at the turbo to replace the sensor. With the right combination of extensions and universals you can replace that sensor without removing exhaust! If I remember correctly the sensor was about $60.
What a masterpiece
well, that cleaned up NICELY!
Spanky. Amazing job, y'all.
My biggest pet peeve is "armor all" ing the dash. No vehicle has a shiny dash from the factory. It's a dull, matte finish to prevent glare. All of my cars have just been wiped down with a damp cloth, and they look new 5-7 years later.
Great to know.
Do you put covers on your dashboard to protect it as well? If so, do you find that it preserves your dashboard?
Awesome car.👏👏
yayyy Saab!
Good stuff. Looks like a great DD. Hope you get some R8 time after the Rolls is rolling!
Nice car and nice job.
I also have a 9-5 t wagon
It tuned to 260 bhp.
Regards from Norway.
Another - let's clean the car - we need a TLDW segment - a before and after run. Good vid as usual...need more Amberghini
How dare you put up a video that's not rolls smoke content. That is the best build going on CZcams right now.
R.i.p KOBE
I hope you plan to keep this one.... A lot of work went into that thing.
Saying hi from Olathe KS
Paint looks great! Seats look roached. Overall good job for a used car lot.
I would Die for this car... I've been ogling Saab's for a very long time...
Glad you mentioned the horrible tint
Hope you replace the windshield wipers ? Any old Glass particles would scratch your new windshield 👍
Oh yeah!!!♨️
I feel like you are doing all of us Swedes a favor
Now you understand why Saab guys love their cars, I have two 9 5's a wagon and a sedan and a 89 900 turbo on the driveway that I want to bring back to running condition.the wagon is a o6 beast 265horses pulls like a train once you drive a good Saab it's hard to quit.
I have an 02 9-5 Sportcombi, an 06 9-3 Aero saloon, and an 84 900 Turbo 8v. All fantastic cars.
Good glass choice PGW is a great brand to go with! Most new hondas use PGW from the factory! (Used to work alot with glass)
pgw is awful nowadays, but not nearly as bad as the installer was
Nothing quite like your first drive on a new windshield. You get accustomed to all that pitting and accumulated grunge over the years then it's a night and day difference.
It's like going from a 1980s 10 inch CRT to a 50 inch UHD 4K
Geez using a cold knife and extractor they are hacking that up
Enjoy the airplane inspired warning chime and clear button!
I was hoping for more videos on the Saab soon. I had the windshield replaced on my old Saab as well. Btw, is there any way to replace the faded Saab emblem on the steering wheel airbag?
I'm sure there's a way. I was looking into that for an Acura I had where the fake chrome has rubbed through to a weird yellow lol
Steve Oswald oh yeah one of my Honda’s has that same problem as well. I think you would just have to replace the chrome or the airbag cover
Yeah they have new replacement stickers that go over it
Very high quality. I bought one for the boot badge 4 years ago, and it still looks amazing. Even held up to our beautiful weather here in the UK.
Cardboard Sliver good to know. I never saw the steering wheel badge get stripped off, but definitely the exterior badges. I replaced both of those on my old Saab. I guess it’s just one of those wear & tear items.
Finally something that isn't the Rolls
Only one though! Back to the RR till it's done 💯
THEN the R8, right?
@@rwdplz1 This guy's got jokes!
more saab vids please !
Saab is a cool car
"This it's my first Saab windshield."
Ha, I'm in danger.
Chris Hansen how is fleece Johnson treating you!
@@nvkulk He got out, and he still doesn't call back. I miss him....
might be the guys first windshield in general. awful
Hope you keep this car
You can tell it was born from jets.
Hey WatchJRGo, If it's possible next Saab 95 video, can you throw in a good view of the dash board. I'd like to take a look at it.
Yessss‼️
Hey, i got a tip for you, clean the gloss finish on top of your dashboard and make it MAT otherwise you won't see much through your new windshield during a sunny weather. (its still visible @10:55)
My wife drives a Saab 9-3 convertible, I don't think she will ever drive anything else. Cool cars with personality.
The name of your channel ought to be "Keep Up With JR and Go
Yay!
Steve Jobs did an excellent job on your interior.
JrGo!!!!
I’ve never realized that you film so close to where I live I live like 15 minutes away from Andover lol
He lives in Andover. I think there's a few videos where he's driving though Augusta.
I assumed he lived in Wichita but yeah I live in near eldorado in the country
@@Know1_music The land out there is beautiful! I live in West Wichita on the boarder of the city and there's nothing but factory farms out here! Haha
Small world. I live 20 minutes north of Minneapolis Ks, in a little town called Delphos. Originally from Salina.
@@dragonbrownies517 That's one tiny little town! I have a few buddies from that area.
Damn man, it looks great! I would buy it in an instant if I would be in the US. We have a lot of Saab diesels up for sale where I live. People are getting rid of these because of the extra $$ they need to pay for emissions tax.
i'd like to see this beauty go up on "Bring a Trailer".
Had a saab 9-5 with 2.0 petrol 150hp. Anyways, good car with a comfy ride. Had issues with lots of stuff though and ended up selling the thing.
The red tape you used to cover the pinstriping actually looked better than the pinstriping. You could have kept it.
7:57 was oddly satisfying
I hope that glass guy doesn't use a cold knife and the Sawzall on really high end vehicles. He really should use a synthetic cord cutout tool like the WRD Spider. ZERO chance of scratching the paint using a cord cut out method.
guy was awful, no gloves, no primer. jr missed the set. he better sell this car now, lol
