Defending is honestly just art if u know what ur doing
Exactly. Its beautiful

Usually when a team wins, the Strikers or the Goalkeepers get all the credits, Defenders are just always in the back in terms of recognition, respect these players!
Thats because they don't know to watch football
Thanks,on behave of all defenders🎉
Goalkeeper is useless if your defend is good throughout the tournament
Yes😊
As a full back myself, I can say this is true. When the teams wins, what said above happens and when we lose, the blame comes to us no matter how hard we try. Despite being one of the hardest positions defenders are always underrated. This mostly happens because the ones who blame are just ordinary fans, but the group of people who actually know what is going on does appeciate the whole team and respects the team evenly
You know what's the proud feeling for me when my whole team is attacking and i am the only one who is playing cb staying with goalkeeper and my whole team have full confidence on me that opponent can't score us, this is best feeling ever while playing as a cb
euphoric right there feels like u bust a nut when u save the whole team
I agree as a cb, this is the best feeling. Knowing that your team believes in you.
same that’s one of the reasons why i love playing cb
Jay, i been following this channel for like a year now, and i got better because of your tips and trick, now im one of the best defenders of my youth league, so i appreciate it a lot, dont stop uploading videos like this bro, AGUANTE ARGENTINA!!💪

Most of the strikers goes to their strong foot side while doing stepover
You often don't know their strong foot though

Idea for a video: 3 Defensive uses of stance: 1v1 to hold till your cover is in position, Steer and Delay in defensive stance back peddling, how to back peddle with speed (similar to what American foot defenders do from the line of scrimmage, but the proper soccer way).
I followed this and we won by a score of 5-0.
Thanks.
Today was day one of my 23/24 season in my academy and while it was halftime I watched this and I managed to not let enybody pass me and we got the 3 points with a G/A of 7 (4 goals 3 assists)

I'm learning alot from this video I'm so greatfull to you bro😇❤️
All thease tips are realy good i really recommend ❤
THANKS MAN YOU REALLY HELPED ME TO BE A BETTER DEFFENDER
Having played in defence many times (I'm normally a midfielder) tackling should never be the major drive of defending. Organisation, reading the game , composure and judging the offside line are far more important. MOst of the game isn't about tackling for a defender and is often actually, a last resort.

im currently an academy player and i play full back and center back so this has helped so much to boost my chances of going pro
I have good physical and speed and good reflexes but I do not have a lot of technical defense
My psychology trick is to bark or just talk to the forward in a loud voice and it works well
XD
I am not a defender but i am a deep lying playmaker so this video really helped thx.
I grew up in Italy playing football everyday, where boys and girls by the age of 10 they already know all the basics of football and half of them have the qualities to start training in minor leagues. I always played as defender because of my size. What I learnt in those years is that awareness is everything. Especially in low -mid level football, if you are aware of opponent's position and their qualities, you can intercept almost every pass. At age 14 we won the local league with the best defense. Me and my other mates wouldn't even need to tackle: where interceptions weren't enough, we were just running on them and use our larger size to make the attacker loose his equilibrium.
i liked all of this but for me, i am not the best on the team there are some real good team8s and when i communicate by telling them "go forward, i'll pass u a thru ball" they get angry and start saying im bad and stuff, tips for that? thanks uni
Could you make a video that's goes in depth about a defenders positioning on the defence or offence aswell as positioning when faced in certain situations such as a 2 v 1 on goal
This is the best channel for improving football skills.
I play middle defender and this helps🎉
You all know why I’m here....
No way bro iam a striker😢
Bro wanted to be ramos
Us bro us
I’m already a good defender
I'm very dangerous I got Ramos legs
Bcoming, a defender takes alot of mental heath cause you will be blamed for every mistake. I am the best defender in my grade but when you make little mistake everyone blames you. Stay strong my defending buddies💪👍
so tru😭 stay strong brother
❤ thanks for the tips really helpful
I was playing with some kids I didn’t know yesterday and I was GOATed on defense. I kept trying to direct them and tell them where to go to cover passing lanes and I kept anticipating all of the other team’s plays seeing everyone that was making runs. It was so frustrating when I was telling them who to mark and when to press and fall back and for the most part they weren’t listening. For someone who has only been playing a few months and not very seriously at that I think I have a pretty good games iq and awareness and feel for the game. The kids on my team were pretty good in terms of technical ability and such but I feel as though their iq was lacking and I had to make a lot of last ditch tackles and clearances. Still had a lot of fun though. Remember guys the sure fire best way to get better at the game is to play and also be conscious of everything that happens while you do. This will increase your iq and just overall awareness and familiarity with the game. All of that is a super underrated but extremely important part of football that can literally change the entire course of a match especially at lower levels. Just something to keep in mind 👍🏾
Post a video on weekly routine to practice at home roof
Can you do CB version of when to keep the ball and when to intersept please 🥺
Because of ur tips i got selected in the under 14 team tysm🎉🎉
a good skill to know and use but not to be over used
My style of defending is just acting as a brick wall in their way so that my other friends can have time to actually defend and regain the ball
Crazyy, I wanted to be a striker and now I have to play as a wing left back.. It is what it is
I was once the best defender of my team and i use all of these tactics, now am injured and my team is losing badly because of the new defender thank you for the tip I would really like to tell my new teammate how to improve in defending because he doesn't know how.
Guess new defender is a noob😅
If you are bad at defending try other positions dont blame it on things and get on the grind i hate it when people make excuses cuz they dont want to eork
5:40 Me watching this as an attacker precisely because of that.
NYC brudda i am cb i learn many things tx for that.... 🔥🔥
just stared playin soccer 2 weeks ago and made it onto my schools team!
Thank you. It had helped me a lot
Thank you
This videos are actually helping me❤
Best tip watch how to improve as a striker because it will help you to think one step ahead of the striker
Nice game big thumb for you great work keep it up.
Goodluck for your trial
The biggest tip I can give as a modern cb is to get comfortable on the ball and take the time to master the art of passing
Thanx for the video, i have learnt a lot
Tomorrow is my Football Selection Match and I am just watching it now.
VERY HELPFUL!!!
The goat of all
Thanks this helps a lot
This helped me a lot as a RB ❤
This is my strategy in game I focus on the ball and the 3 teammates around him and when I have the ball I look around the pitch and the people in front of me and I look at my teamates I usually cross it to the one that are very far away from me and I don’t go front a lot and I also make sure it doesn’t go offside my awareness is good but am always square so the first tip help a lot am the second biggest in my class and Am 59.3 pounds that’s the definition of upper primary I went to school 2 years late or am in one grade behind high school and I acan the pitch when the ball is out for like a pass I have good pace and phy so far and my shooting is good I have most of my power in my right foot but am left handed and that’s all this video helped a lot thanks for up,pacing this
But I don't I use my weak foot so I can use my strong foot too move the ball
Heading and aerial ball drills
Yes, thanks for the video ❤️
Could u do more detail for skills
Nope bro in my class we defenders don't even get a little respect

This helps a lot👍
I’m a winger and looking at this 😂😂 100000 IQ
This helped me so much since i want to be on the Jr.CLT FC team!
Thanku sir ❣️❣️❣️
Thanks for the tips
Finnally a defending video les goooo
Jazakallah prother 😊❤
3 tips to make strikers fear you (sergio ramos tips):
1: break ankles
2: break ankles
3: be physical and break ankles
Defending is underrated if a defender saves a goal you hear god job but when the striker scores the Hole team runs to the striker and celebrates
I am currently a midfielder but
I want to be a CB because my defensive game is much better than my attacking game therefore I wouldn’t help much in the attack, but the problem is my team has 2 insane CB for my age, should I consider RB, my RB isn’t good and I thought since rb is a weak spot i could go there since we have good midfielder back-ups, should I ask my coach to go RB?
if you are quick and are able to contribute to the attack from the wing, definitely ask to go rb. if not ask to go cdm. if you're already a cdm and want to move from there then ig you just have to deal with it
The way i practiced awareness is legit by keeping track of 3 random prople in a crowd whenever i got to a mall 💀
I always clear the ball away from the ground whenever I get it
Im a striker I just wanna be camavinga
It's staying active and aware on the pitch
First try outs for school team tmrw🥰
Thank you for these tips I have an important football tournament tomorrow (:
Honestly as a defender I am really good at tackling and stealing the ball like its my thing you know and as the defender i constanly put pressure on the attackers I also am really good at intercepting passes
Me too
Thanks a lot.
Great videos I am a defender and an attacking player love both roles
I've been playing central mid and left win but i never had fun like the day i been a defender 💯
More videos on defending sir please 🙏
I have a question on positioning on through-balls. If you are guarding a wing on a through ball should you stay tight or let him run in from wide and hope you beat him in the footrace. Or should you drop just before the balls played to get a step?
I would say it depends on the the winger operates on that particular game , many wingers love to play it to their fullbacks then overlap behind if you decide to be tight on his pockets . Some rather stretch out the field and always look out for the midfielders to run in from behind . What I certainly love to do is always keep track and command my backline into playing more high up the pitch so that I can force the opposition team to play long and not give them freedom . playing high up the pitch also guarantees high press from your team.
as a striker thank you now ik what defenders think
Thank u I play as an defender this is good advice and also don’t try to get the football just block the players
Edit:we won our matchhhhhhhh
That some really good advice, and exactly what I do. When a player from the opposing team is coming near the goal then I run towards him and just try to stop him or kick the ball away from him, never try to take and dribble it

Im good defender im just walching to get even better to be unstoppable
I want a video on how to play with lower level teammates, how do I use them in a game setting if they aren’t as good or new to the game?
U have to be vocal n u muc give them structure lyk wen u pass the ball it muc follow wid an instruction coz ur the one that can see wats goin on
@@ayandamakhathini2457 Thanks
@@icemanfreezezing no problem
As s midfielder, this helped alot thank you!
As a defender I love creeping up on strikers/attackers they already fear me, one second I’m across the field and then the other second I’ve stolen the ball.
I just keep pressure on them .
Can you do more videos for defenders
I am a RW and watching this because i am trying to learn what defenders do lol
POV me watching this at 10:30 at night before match day to defend the leading goal kicker in the comp
Do a video for right backs and left backs please
