By no means do you have to support but Mrs. Gibson and I really appreciate the support as it goes a long way since most of these videos are copyrighted or blacklisted by YT. Lots of time goes into recording, editing, researching, and providing encouraging words throughout each reaction/review so this is an OPTION for those that are able to do so. DO NOT if finances are tight and priorities need to be taken care of first.

Shadows fall - redemption
Yeah
Hell yeah on Redemption. One of my all time no matter the band songs. Completely epic!
Shadows Fall - For Those Who Can Not Speak or Forevermore
Hell yeah! This is some good stuff right here. I grew up listening to this.
Same. Would always listen on the bus before school
Yo man, Cliff Burton is NOT the lead singer of Metallica. He was the original bassist and he died on the Tour Bus in 1986 while the band was touring for Master of Puppets. You're thinking of James Hetfield. But no, this Shadows Fall vocalist doesn't sound anything like James.
âKing of Nothingâ by the band Shadows Fall,
Another bangerđ„
Cliff Burton?..... You are hilarious, sir.
Greatest song from Guitar Hero personallyđ€đœ
Shadows Fall - What Drives The Weak , The Power Of I And I or Redemption you need to react too..
I still jam The Power of I and I honestly. Thereâs just some SF songs that never get old.
Glad to see you check these guys out. I am friends with the lead singer Brian Fair and he is a really great guy.
Love this band. Saw them open for DAMAGE PLAN on Halloween night in New Orleans right before Dime was killed. Thanks for doing them.
Bro I saw Damage Plan, Unearth, Shadows Fall, and Hatebreed during the same tour right before Dime was killed.
RIP Dime and Vinnie Paul
Shadows Fall are from Boston. "This song is about how people, TV, and other influences can convince you to be something you are not, and you stay that way because you think it makes you better or more popular, but inside you do not really feel that way and it disguises your true identity. Oh that trap metal beat is sweet
Shadows Fall back in the day was absolutely the shit. I kinda didnât listen to anything after their Threads of Life album but there were a few bangers on Retribution.
Back in the day???
How young are you?
Thunderhorse by Dethklok...another classic from guitar hero days
Ngl, this is one of my most favorite albums ever made. I'm relieved to see I'm not the only person who remembers Shadows Fall. Does anyone else still have the limited edition Shadows Fall Dickies shirt they promo'd with the Forevermore ep??
I didnât know that shirt was a thing but now I feel like I need it
@@tylerperry4318 have fun finding it lmfao. I just tried looking it up to get you a link. Can Not find it anywhere.
@@kyleg-rover7707 seems to be a reoccurring issue with me lmao. Iâve been searching relentlessly for this Spiritbox pullover/windbreaker my man Andrew Baena has been rocking in some recent videos and canât find so much as a breadcrumb on it.
Got a drum head signed by all the band. A cherished possession for sure.
@@rockhydra9768 never let that go. I'll never let that shirt go, for sure. Wish I could've got it signed tho lmao
The is song is what really got me into metal!
Loved playing this on guitar hero. Redemption is another good song by them. Can we get architects black lungs
i think this song is about being blinded by the light of conformity, turning a blind eye to fit in, when you should just be yourself.
Being from Massachusetts. I Had the privilege of watching these guys rise up from small venues.
Same here
Same here... so many great bands from Massachusetts, especially western Massachusetts
Where Metalcore was perfected. Same grew up seeing them ATR, KSE, Unearth. Miss those pits!
Here's a question for you guys. Who remembers Sevenday Curse?
@@mbulloch hmm I donât. I remember Sam Black Church, Tree, Seventh Rail Crew, anyone remember NE Hostility? Lol. They were more nu-metally though. Or Gangsta Bitch Barbie lol.
I used to love Shadows Fall!! Sad they don't exist anymore... Jason Bittner is still one of my favorite drummers! Miss them and Chimaira alotđ
You should check out Orbit Culture... They badass!!!
They didn't split
They in hiatus. Jason the drummer plays with overkill now, and not sure what the rest of em are doin.
@@aaronklein7730 Matt's in Act of Defiance
& Jon Donais is in Anthrax
"That brought back guitar hero on expert level right there" yes sir, it did, GH2 was definitely the best
If there was a Big 4 for metalcore like there is for thrash, these guys may very well could've made the list, or just barely missed. Killswitch, All That Remains, Shadows Fall, Bleeding Through, Poison the Well, Heaven Shall Burn. OGs.
Respect for putting my Florida boys Poison the Well on the list.
But as much as I love Killswitch and Shadows Fall, if we are going to talk about the big 4 that started it all then it's gotta be:
Converge
Poison the Well
Shai Halud
Darkest Hour
Any of the bands you mentioned would probably agree.
Thanks for doing this one, it's definitely one of their best! đ€đđ€
This song definitely takes me back to my childhood. Played this one on guitar hero a lot. As well as Six by All That Remains.
I have played this song a lot on guitar hero back then. It always brings back memories from my childhood. I discovered this band when I was like 7-8. I am 18 and I still listen to them to this day!
This band is so underrated. They are awesome. The drummer of this band is now the drummer of the band overkill and was the drummer in a band called flotsam and jetsam. Heâs on twitch and does live streams with him playing songs from the bands heâs in and plays songs from other bands as well. His name is Jason bittner. Check em out.
Whoaaaa. Huge shoutout to whoever requested this band. Throw the fuck back đđđ
Cliff burton was the bass player of metallica and thr best period but yea shadowsfall is always a banger
this one was one of the hidden gems of guitar hero 2 the 2nd gem was all that remains six
Awesome! Not enough people reacting to Shadows Fall! Intensely underrated band!
You need to react to Shadows Fall -Thoughts Without Words!
Shadows Fall should've been huge... I saw them live in Southsea (UK) touring with Killswitch Engage, God Forbid and Chimaira back around 2004. Cracking gig. Their shit still sounds great today.
A guitar hero classicđ
Maybe the most epic dreads of all time!
Thereâs one song, I canât remember the name, where the singer sounds exactly like James hetfield. Surprised you heard it in this song but Iâm glad someoneâs else ACTUALLY hears itđđ
These guys r so good n underrated!! Their performance live is solid too!
In early 2000s my band opened up for shadows fall. I got the opportunity to sing with them on stage.
Just went a saw these guys at the Reuinion last night, FUCKING KILLED IT!!!!! Awesome review brother, these guys are still my number 1 band and always will be
Yeah! This and "all that remains - six"
James Hetfield is the singer of Metallica, Cliff was their original bass player that died in a tragic bus accident while on your with Ozzy...
I saw shadows fall at "Sounds of the Underground" at The Myth in Minnesota back in 06 I think. Got to meet the band and they singed a CD I bought for me. I believe they played this song that day too. Great day!
Well looky what u found. đ€Ł early 2000âs strong đ€
Helll yeah listen to âthose who cannot speakâ by them as well! Heavily underrated band.
That Iron Maiden's part đ„ș 6:09
Had this ablum before guitar hero, serious guitar playing heavy
YES!!!!!!!! This album gives me so many memories!!! Check out Overcast which is a mix of Shadows Fall and Killswitch Engage before they started said bands.
I've always believed he was singing about how ignorance is bliss and not everything should be taken for face value. Like the government for example. Everything sounds nice and dandy on paper but there's always some sort of motive behind each move, some people just don't want to hear about that stuff. I'm a bit of a mix, I want to know The dirt but at the same time staying in my own lane and worrying about myself is where I'm happiest. As long as you have a nice balance of both I think you'll be just fine.
You gotta do more ! Inspiration on demand is the next best song on that album! đđ»đđ»
Should listen to more of the bands around that time frame.
Such a great song and album!!!
Guitar Hero 2!!
Damn this song brings me back to when I was 15 haha
We have a very similar taste in music. With that said, Stepping Outside the Circle by Shadows Fall is one of my favorite songs of all time
I highly recommend reacting to Celldweller's "Baptized In Fire" if you're up for some hard-edged industrial metal.
Gibby, Phil labonte singer of all that remains was the original singer of shadows fall
Huh. Learn something new every day I guess.
This song was on Guitar Hero. It was very difficult. Lol
Ah yes it's been a long time coming
Let's here A7X "DOING TIME!"
Next, do "Walk The Edge"!!
Man you still haven't reacted to Trivium - Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis and this just reminded me of that.
hell yeah remember playing this on gh2.. sick af.
Yo gibby you should react to Joseph souls the voice audition it was a really good audition
You respect the massholes!!!!
Could ya do a reaction on Plan Three's "Brush it Off"? It's a rock ballad so it's not really a headbanger but it's a beautiful song, so I highly recommend checking it out.
I saw these guys play with Metallica and Lamb of God at the John Paul Jones Arena in the early 2000s. Its funny to see you compare his voice to Lars
Gibby!! My dude, my fren you gotta check out the song "Red Neck War" by Byzantine đ you'll dig the energy đ
How do I get a guaranteed reaction? Patreon or somethin?
What drives the weak next plz!!
Yo, I dont know if ull go for this one but personally its one of my favorites. Celestial by Andromeda.
Also do you ever do twitch streams where you react to songs people donate for?
I'm about to deploy for the navy, can you get to Redemption by Shadows Fall before i go.
React to Dry Kill Logic- Nightmare You won't be disappointed
Bulllet for my valentine truth hurts
This sounds like Bullet For My Valentine mixed with Metallica
Check out smash into pieces anything
I don't look in a mirror for to long, it steal your soul, vain is a sin
You should Cover the Metal Band AvataR
Gibby I love you man you should react to alpha and omega by king 810 youâll love it
Listen and react to Gojira: L'enfant sauvage ( official video) please đ
I hear the little bit of James in the chorus, but ultimately it's nowhere close. Orbit Culture's vocalist is way closer to James
Goofy goober gang gibbi ahahaa fuck
James hetfield is the lead singer of Metallica
a
@@patrod2327 i fixed it.
Bro it took you way too long to react to Shadows Fall. Check out the song "The Power Of I and I" off of the same album.
Metallica has nothing on Shadows Fall.
He was comparing the sounds
Dude's a total cringe load but that's excused for the track
