Shadows Fall has to be one of the most underrated bands in metal. These guys actually wrote great SONGS, not just piecing riffs together like most. Damn, they were so talented. ARE so talented.
the art of balance is especially good. it's probably my third favorite behind rust in peace and master of puppets

This band... specifically this song changed the course of my musical journey forever. They played a big rock festival here back in I think it was 2004. I was a hick in HS and then got into rap/EDM. I saw these guys live and they opened with this song and it was that moment on a hot Saturday afternoon that I became the metalhead that I am today.

Man i miss listening to these guys. This is modern metal in its simple and rawest form. The riff structure is simple and catchy and the lyrics are beyond inspired. Shadows Fall did it right. Much love from the bay.

These guys got me into metal. I will forever be grateful for their presence in my life 🙏 ❤ they are all so underrated for their talents. His vocal range is so fitting for the ever changing guitar and drum styles. And honestly their guitarist is one of the best metal musicians in my opinion. Dude has some really incredible skills.
Not a lot of bands in shadows fall category do guitar leads but they have some of the best I have ever heard they have matured unbelievably through the years

Great song from arguably my favorite metal album of all-time. Bought the album the day it came out, great stuff. Not digging their newer stuff too much, but they made 2 classics that I will always love...The Art of Balance and The War Within.

Shad's fan-base could have, and by all means should have, been bigger; but who they *did* have are all clearly very genuine long term fans. I hope one day they are able to do another reunion tour. Of course though, most of the members are busy with seprate projects now, and I am happy for them that they continue to make music. How could I be anything but proud that Jon is now playing with Anthrax!? I would love to see them together again one day though however. Much love and thanks to all of you, the fans, the members of Shadows Fall, and all who have been involved in the touring and recording endeavours of the band. Without every single one of you none of this would have been possible.
