  • Hiking is starting to get really good for spotting wildlife finally. I really found a lot of trash. Please carry out trash and pick up any that you see. Thanks

I would really like to believe that some of the human garbage you are picking up out there is unbeknown to the person who discarded it. Walking poles will eventually disintegrate, water bottles and trash bags fall out of the hikers’ bags. Hikers that go deeper into the park, away from the crowds in the touristy areas, have more respect . Don’t you think? Gosh, I hope I am right. I need to believe there is still “good” in the world. The mama moose and her baby were absolutely breathtaking. Thank you, Stan. I so appreciate your treks out into such a glorious park. Yellowstone will always be my favorite! ❤️

@@jolenecreech7648 I agree, no doubt the hiking pole pieces fell off unbeknownst to hiker, same with gloves. Stan did a great service by picking them up and so should we when hiking. I do.

Stan - I’ve seen multiple moose cows in Ystone and Colorado. And in your videos….so where are the Bullwinkles with the giant racks?
0:20 crazy how those elk sound just like grouse…
7:50 is that a golden eagle? Magnificent!
A word about the trash - I get it, it’s easy to picture people discarding their plastic junk callously like in ‘Anchorman: Ron Burgundy’ - but with this trash? I’d say we’re probably dealing with carelessness more than callousness. (You really think somebody said ‘I’ve had it with his hat!!’ and threw it on the ground? Come on…)
Will you swear to the heavens that any time a piece of *your* trekking pole breaks off mid-hike, that you’d notice it? Can you honestly say in your life nothing has ever fallen out of your pocket without knowing it?
I would wager that in his many years of hiking, even Stan has *probably* dropped a lens cap or a granola bar wrapper **at least once** on accident.
So we should all dismount our high horses. Pick it up, throw it out, move on. Accidents happen. Assume good intentions. People are people.

@@JimL2883 Stan's posts are getting heavily cloaked in his religion. And obviously some of his followers like that. According to current scientific analysis, Earth has had 5 mass extinctions. After each one, the vast majority of plant and animal life were wiped off this planet with a new set of plant and animal life emerging out. So when Stan talks about "God's creation" I have to wonder if he's including all the previous manifestations at creation.Given what we think we know, using the instruments of science, I doubt this will be the last. Yellowstone is what it is, but it too will pass. Enjoy it for its own beauty.

Gaza is a brilliant example of how religion has been a form of tribalism for sheep.
