I've never had a game give me chills before... this one did at 4 points: 1. The "unshaken" ride after Guarma 2. "My last boy" when Arthur and the remaining Wapiti charge after the army 3. Arthur's last ride " The way it is" 4. When the theme for American Venom kicks in
I had 5, 3 alone from Red Dead Redemption. 1. Whole of Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern. 2. Arthur, Charles, Sadie and the Indians charge in My Last Boy. 3. "Mrs. Adler, ride with me!" 4. Rescuing Abigail and Sadie and just hearing the Pinkertons cry out in fear "It's Arthur Morgan." 4. Arthur's last ride.
Fun fact, during one of the first cutscenes in the game, when you go to raid the O'Driscoll camp during the Colter-chapter, you can see Mount Hagen and Micah's to-be-hideout in the distance, as if the game's foreshadowing that at some point you are going to make your way up there.
Just did 100% for this game today. I wanted to leave American Venom for second last, and then visit Arthur's grave for the 100%, but it sadly got cucked by A Better World, A New Friend - II as you had to put the Squirrel Statue in your house to finish that quest and you can't do that until after American Venom. At least it's the closest I can get to my headcanon ending.

Imagine being Micah in this situation. Enjoying a nice day on your mountain top house when all of a sudden you hear gunshots. You look outside to see the silhouette of the man you murdered 8 years ago, single-handedly taking down your entire gang with nothing but a revolver and balls of steel. You grab your guns and get ready at the door until you hear in the voice of a boy you thought nothing of and assumed was long dead shouts out “It’s John Marston, Micah!” You have come to the realization that this isn’t a spirit risen from the dead, but a man out to avenge his dead best friend.
That sounds awkward at first, but then you realize that means the only thing Micah heard was John’s voice getting louder, gunshots, and the screams of his own men.
Rdr1 John wasn’t born until Ross kidnapped his family. Rdr1 John wouldn’t have let himself lose the gunfight to Micah, and might not have even gone for revenge at all

I cant even put into words how hyped I was during this mission. 100+ hours of the game all lead to this moment and I had goosebumps the entire time. This music was so perfect for it

When Arthur died we didn't want to play with John, we felt demotivated, but when he went to his way to kick Micahs ass we were reunited with him once again. The mourning was over, we were ready to do this. We were John in RDR1 again.
At first, I thought that Blind man Cassidy was just spouting some random and wise quotes about life. But oh boy its more to it than that. Whoever wrote his lines is a legend.
I honestly didn't know there was dialogue first time around. I was so out for blood I shot Joe and the other 2 on sight, didn't even know it was him I shot him so fast. After Micha killed Arthur (bad honor I know) I was done talking. It was time for killing.

Hell, it probably would have been Micah hunting down Dutch and the others, including John, instead of John in the events of RDR1.
Not necessarily. Only Dutch was wanted, Milton says that at the beginning of the game. The only reason they tracked him down was for him to hunt Dutch. Even if they wanted to find John I doubt they could’ve. Like Hosea would say it’s a big country. Easy to get lost in

When Arthur died we didn't want to play with John, we felt demotivated, but when he went to his way to kick Micahs ass we were reunited with him once again. The mourning was over, we were ready to do this. We were John in RDR1 again.

I honestly didn't know there was dialogue first time around. I was so out for blood I shot Joe and the other 2 on sight, didn't even know it was him I shot him so fast. After Micha killed Arthur (bad honor I know) I was done talking. It was time for killing.
