For some reason when it came to slide the sides in I had 2 openings, can you explain where I might have went wrong
Hi, yes you are meant to have 2 openings, one on either side of the knot. After you tie the knot, move the fabric towards one side of the band and insert the headband into the fabric. Then you need to slide it all the way to the other side to insert the other side of the headband. If you watch that part again you will see what I mean 😊

Just out of curiosity, do you fold the fabric twice so that when you sew it there's 4 layers of fabric because it makes it more comfortable or because the fabric is thin? If the fabric is thicker, should you only fold it once?
I used doubled up fabric so that there is the print on both sides. If you have a fabric which is the same on both sides then you do not need to double it up 😊

Hi what type of fabric would work best with this ?
Any fabric would work well as long as it's not too stiff. I used cotton because that's what I had available 😊
