  • If you ever wondered how a propeller shaft could pierce the hull of a vessel below the waterline, turn freely, and not (usually) sink the boat, here ya go. And if you already know all this stuff about stuffing boxes, I'll provide a cautionary tale on the perils of letting your box go un-stuffed too long. Geez, no wonder Keith Fenner is always cracking dirty jokes. How could you not, in his business?

Sold my boat last year...paid for my lathe. I get much more use out of the lathe :)

I'm starting to think those thoughts myself. Last year I used my kayak a lot. That thing costs me nothing to sit there: no insurance, registration, or taxes. It's a beautiful thing.

Hello, and thanks for watching and commenting. I do not know a thing about RC models, but my friend James Clegg (aka Stump Fabrication) makes racing RC boats. Here is a link to his channel: czcams.com/video/hEAd57P-vE4/video.html
I'll bet he can tell you what you need to know. Have a great day!

I'm interpreting your comment to mean, "Oh God, this guy sure blathers on." It has been said. Working on it!
