- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
We're back today in the Studio Polygon Renown, fuelled by a new enthusiasm as my real life Renown is booked in to go for some major repair work! We're driving a First Barbie liveried B10BLE today on the route 12 from Paignton Royal Hospital through to Stoneley.
It's a gorgeous morning for it, the sun is shining, and the frost is slowly dropping away. I think I forgot quite how good this bus is, unless they've improved it since we last visited... I dunno, but anyway enjoy the trip!

I used to drive Renowns in service for First Glasgow no2 on routes 201, 240 and 267. Loved them!
Southampton 8/8a used to be my bus to school this and the Gemini 2, got the pack we have both in there for the 8 thought it was cool to get a reference.
Only other bus I've seen in Southampton livery was the Enviro 200 mod in bluestar.
Hi Joe, I adored these when i travelled as a kid on them on the 8/8A 10/10A, 17/17A etc..... Shame there depot is closing in February :(
2:39 it seems that on all Studio Polygon vehicles, the ticket machine Driver No. is 10368.
And on the SP Renown, the view to change the roller-blinds is from the driver's cockpit and will probably be the case on all future StudioPolygon vehicles...
just hearing the engine noise brings back alot of memoies going to rotherham an back home on theses
also that bus you used in this video is a south yorkshire bus :D
I've only ever driven a couple of these, I normally had the similar but smaller B6BLEs. 66102 was the first one I ever drove and that went like a rocket.

I find it funny every time you go to move the streering wheel. I though I shall tell you if your using Pedals press your clutch down and it will move. Same with the B7RLE

Wish you all the best with your renown too! Will you do a video on it at some point? I'd love to see it and hopefully someday in person at one of the rallies! Although I understand that might be a bit further in the future !

When you get your B10 back, please can you do a video of driving it on public roads, similar to when you bought your B7?

i do wish they place one of then sticky notes with the ibis codes/pins on , it can be a royal pain having to go into the readme to refresh the memory.

Hi Joe, I'm not a bus fanatic but love sim games and finding your channel has really got me into OMSI2. Your footage is always very smooth, I wondered if you had a video about getting decent performance? I have a 3080 etc, have applied 4gb patch, load full map at startup from SSD which has helped but I still regularly get crashes and stutters. Cheers!
4GB patch unfortunately doesn't work for me..

Your buzzer will be a small cylindrical beige plastic thing behind the dashboard, exposed metal on the back and 2 wires. Might just need resoldering.
AI behaviour is hard coded into the exe so can't be modded
Traffic now waits for you to make the turn into stoneley

Hi Joe, wandering if you can help!? A while ago you did something in your video where you “reset” your textures in Omsi, so you could get the shift y red lines back. When I drive this bus I often have this problem, I can’t find anything about what you did! I think you called it the task manager trick or something? It basically reloaded everything in I think… any help!? Thanks!
Yes there's a way you can do it, but off the top of my head I can't remember, but Ctrl+Alt+Delete, then exit that will also have the desired effect :)
