I love your videos... you make me believe that I can also do it.. I hope my insurance do it... also do you ever post your travels?? I love to travel myself so I will be following you everywhere you go if you do videos...
Nicole, Congratulations on your weight loss as well as your new job how exciting is that! I had my lap band removed in april and Im on my tail end to getting my gastric bypass myself. Have two PT visits soon , then insurance approval ... the end is near
@@nicoleislosingit Thanks. 3 days post op now. So it's a challenge fit "food" and drink. But I guess it will be easier over time. I couldn't get a sleeve, cause I have a hernia. So I ended up with a gastric bypass instead.
Love factor. I eat half for dinner ,other half lunch. I’m 4.5 months post bypass. Last 2 weeks had severe pain from stones. Crystal light lemonade. Hoping to not get ulcer as well. You look soooo good. Please share Utah it’s on my bucket list
I hope your stones are resolving - so awful! I get my first Factor order next week - I will report back on how I find it. Utah is definitely a beautiful place!!!
I started derma rolling my body once a week. Even notice after one week it looks so much better. My inner thighs and inner arms better. I’m 50 so it’s crepe and loose. Do some research here on CZcams
Is it weird being down that far? I haven't been in the 1-teens since 1997. Good job! I got sleeved last Monday and was at 231. Now I'm at 221. I'm 5'2"
I wish you had gone into more way more detail about the "developed a snacking habit", like how much, how often and what you are eating. Maybe delve into why you are eating like that suddenly. Im 21 week post RNY and would love to know what to watch out for BEFORE I end up doing the same. I do know that you said you eat like a toddler lol. Does your sister, who you live with, cook actual meals? Is it anything that you could contribute to and be able to sit down with her and eat as a family? I feel like the actual food part has always been your biggest source of difficulty throughout your journey. Is this new part time job in addition to your full time nursing job?? Yikes, that is ALOT!
That's fair - I'm kind of embarrassed by how downhill things have gone with my diet lately. I've basically just been snacking - no actual meals. So I eat a little here, a little there, not really enough to fill me up. You really do need to eat full meals so that you get full and satisfied. But I haven't been doing that and constantly feel hungry. It's a bad habit from my pre-surgery days. So, I'm starting a food delivery service next week so that I will have actual, full meals at the ready.
What induces/causes the ulcers after the procedure - aside from the steroid injection? Btw, Dr. R. Repta is excellent at surgeries/excess skin removal.
Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and NSAIDS are all top causes of ulcers (in addition to steroids) after bariatric surgery. I'll have to look into that doctor! Thanks!
@@nicoleislosingit thanks for answering.. I feel every day more confident that this is what I need to do. Do you feel like losing the weight helped you with the artritis? Since your knees are carrying less weight ?
lol I thought it was my cat meowing. You're looking so great Nicole! Have a wonderful and safe trip!!!

Thanks again for sharing your story. And yes, the skin would be interesting... I struggle with it too. I am nearly one year post OP.

Thank you so much!!
Thanks for the update. I’d be totally interested in seeing your lose skin. I’m having surgery hopefully early next year.

And you are beautiful and I enjoy your CZcams
You are so kind!
Please try Bone Broth, particularly chicken and beef
I make pot roast with beef bone broth - but maybe I should try just drinking it? It has so much protein!
