    Dude, the bungee cord under the front pocket flap is not for tighting the pocket! is for adjusting the height of the knee pad...

  • @kvllerqveen7147
    @kvllerqveen7147 Před rokem

    The elastic loops in the upper thigh pockets are used for adjusting the height of the knee pads, not for magazine storage. Pull the bungee to raise the knee pads

    I own these pants and they are doing pretty good so far for casual airsoft use. I play in an area of rooms and corridors and they proved to be pretty comfortable and useful in the fact that they have the knee pad inserts. Aside from several threads hanging off of them, the pants are holding up.

    The elastic on the cargo pocket is mostly for water bottles but mags I guess works too

    The video of the combat shirt is on the way! To answer your question: I am 5.4/5.5 125 lbs, and the size small fits well. The sleeves are a bit "baggy" but not really that much. Overall they both fit somewhat well, but a slightly smaller size would have been better for me.

    Shipping was $45 for me because I purchased a LOT of stuff. You can check their website though, for the pair it self it should be cheap. It took 9 days to get to me and I'm in California. Size 30 regular are true to size, yes.

    Good actually. Internals are rocking! Externally, however, the only issue I had is that the charging handle spring snapped so it doesn't open the dust cover anymore. I can fix it i'm just too lazy lol :p

    Nice review man. The Gen. 3's however do not have the elastic near the waste band. The Gen. 2's are the ones with the elastic. Not sure why Crye decided not to include it in the Gen.3's.

    No prob man. I was confused the first time I saw the pants as well.

    How about an after combat debrief on these pants? How well they're holding up, how practical the pockets and kneepads are, does the velcro still work, how much you use the pants, etc.?

      I own 2 pairs of Cryes. The pull tabs inside of the front pocket is what I'm talking about. It pulls the knee area up.

    Does Emerson not make the Gen 3s in black? I can't find them anywhere, only the G2s. Does anyone know the differences between the G3 and G2? Only things I can determine are that the G3s don't have the elastic and the G2s don't have the waist adjust. Is that right? TIA

    Okay, so I have a question for any one who has served or is currently serving in the military: I'm 17, and 6'3 and 200+ lbs, so a lot of people think I'm older than I actually am, and I was wondering, If I wear multicam bdu pants and a multicam hat, (most likely with an American flag on it) and most likely a black t-shirt or something, is it disrespectful? I really like how multicam looks, but I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to impersonate someone who is in the military.

  • @Chananderlarbong
    @Chananderlarbong Před 11 lety +2

    The reason for the lack of elastic support on the waist and kneecaps is due to breakage, apparantly operators were complaining that excessive use would cause the elastic to stretch and tear over time. That is not something you want happening when your in the middle of operations or airsoft. Crye decided to scrap the elastic and use lighter fabric for the kneecaps that whilst cannot stretch still supports the airflex pads, Emerson simply copied this design and a good copy at that.....
