The only issue I have with your gear, all of it I have seen, is that it is only single stitched. Aside from that...I like it all.

Find one with a reputable merchant rating and you'll be fine.

I have the Emerson Gen3-Advanced upper and lower set. amazing quality,
but the Hips and specially the Thigh area are just too wide and puffy!
i had to do some zip tying inside to decrease the Thigh circumference. it was simply too baggy beforehand.
im planning to get a new set of Emersons, but this time it would be the Gen2 in Arid Multicam. according to the size sheet, it fits true to size... tighter. in the pictures, the Pants aren't puffy/baggy in the Hip and Thigh area. Also, it isn't as High Waisted as the Gen3-A.
I hope Emersongear can reply to my comment to confirm that the Gen2 will indeed fit tighter to the body specially to the legs.
basing on the Measurement sheet of the Gen2 set, vs the measurement sheet of my Gen3-A, the Gen2 does say it's tighter in the hips, Thighs, and Waist.

The problem I've found with the spandex on these type of pants is that it can be ripped off with splinters or thornes. Anyway, they're really cool!

I own now a G3 2017 version combat suit. The knee pads padding is still too thin. Taking a knee alot ends up with bruised knees. Hook and loop or velcro is not enough on the knee pads. And pull out as mentioned by other users below. You need bigger sizes past 3XL. And zipper pockets on back are hard to get your hands in. Suggest a slighly bigger cut so hands can fit while holding items. Same as waist front pockets. Smaller pockets cut too small to be useful. And not enough material to hold small items past maybe a battery or papers. Cargo pockets are fine. Would like to see pull tabs on zippers and stronger zippers. Needs a padded waist section like older Gen 2s. Belt loops need to be cut with a bit of extra slack to allow threading of belts easier. Knee height adjustment plastic toggles dont keep knee height section up after hard play. Would suggest stronger material on shin areas. Butt pad areas. Knee areas and Elbow areas. When you lepoard crawl those areas will be worn out faster. Oh shirt length can be longer by waist. Needs to sit further down. Can spandex also be thicker? Need soft pad inserts for Elbows on combat shirt. Not bad but far from perfect.

The biggest issue I have with my Gen 2's and likely still prevalent in the newer Gen 3's. The knee and elbow pads rip out when leopard crawling. If you are on your knees a lot they tend to pop out at the worst time. And often you don't realize you lost a Pad until you look down. By then it's lost in the woods or bush. It needs not just small Hook and Loop/ velcro strips but bigger strips. Really a lot more. Secondly the knee pads padding needs to increase a bit in thickness. I can still get bruised knees if I take a hard need to the ground or on rocks. Secondly is the Gen 3 Combat Shirt. Is it T-Shirt material for the Top or Spandex? Mine is Spandex and not as comfortable as standard 180 GSM weighted T-Shirt material. Lastly, I have to agree with Airsoft Review Argentina the Spandex needs to be really beefed up and thicker to prevent tears. I know of a player with a Gen 3 set who tore his.
Ok, Graeme, well received and thanks for your sincere feedback from the real performance. I will report this to our production department. We have some shirts in Spandex, but Gen 3 combat shirt doesn't have in Spandex, can you please send us the ID# ?
Where can I get the mandrake ones?
Interested in the new gen 3 but there are some important aspects to consider as a gen 3 user for two years now:
1. Using spandex material in crotch area, that is probably the first place the pants will fail. Play in jungle and the environment will rip it, so a bit worried.
2. On old gen 3 the knee pads fall out ALL OF THE TIME. Always need to check they are in place as they are easily taken out by branches, crawling or just walking. The velcro inside the pocket tends to loose its grip after some months. I placed extra velcro on the pad black border but it is still giving me issue and have lost 2 pads. People always point out to me that my kneepads are falling out.
3. The velcro black ties on the back area of the belt looses grip after some time, so if you are a size in the middle of regular size after some months the pants get more loose.
4. When wearing battle belt very difficult to reach into the front pockets.
5. Side pockets flap and velcro become loose aftet time, the inside loop also becomes loose to hold the magazine.
Hope you can confirm if 2, 3 & 4 have been fixed. Good to see use of better zippers.

the zapt ones on amazon are like the "classic g3" (no stretchy stuff) but with the g2 style back pockets, knee adjustments and knee pads.

What are the sizing on these? I wear a size 33 pant. Would a large be too loose? Would a medium be too tight?
get a large, it will be 34 waist and you can tighten the waist band, then it will be long enough and if too long you can shorten the length with the draw string. i made the mistake of getting small so the knee pads sit too high because its too short and when i kneel the knee pad goes above my knee (i have an awkward body type 29x34) i wish i got medium though and tightened the waste.

Dear Emerson,please please get your sizing right,everything comes up small if the costumer is from the west.Also,please try to cater for larger sizes e.g 40-50 inch waste,there are alot of larger airsofters out there and you are missing out on a lot of custom.
in my experience, they are very open about the fact that their sizes are for the asian market

Spandex is a big mistake. Break the aesthetics of a pair of pants could be carried on the street in an elegant way.
I am buying old models WITHOUT SPANDEX.
The new model is only valid for airsoft. The old model was good for airsoft ... and everything.
With the new models you have limited the sales market. A shame I will not buy any update with spandex. iT IS HORRIBLE.

These are just cheap knockoffs of crye precision combat pants. Save up and get the real deal, these are copies of another companies work (but made in China of course) and will probably fall apart on you in the field. Come up with your own products, your own design, and stop ripping off reputable companies.
Hi, just to let you know that we created some of our own gears (bags and backpacks) and apparel in the last 2 years, which meets the needs in the field and in the daily living.
In some cases you don't need to blow 200$ from your pocket for a pair of pants, this one gets the job done for airsoft for example.
LMAO imagine being this much of a tryhard. unless you're doing a tour of Afghanistan for 9 months, you don't need Crye's. 99% of people the civilian market that buys crye's aren't spending WEEKS in the field or doing prolonged extreme stresses on their clothing.
is crye superior? naturally. but context matters and even if you're buying these uniforms for your TOTALLY LEGIT local militia group, you still wont need crye's.
fact is that EVERYONE would own crye's if they cost 150 instead of 315, but that's not the way of the world.
until Crye drops their price, Emerson is a GREAT option. I mean have you even bought these pants to test yourself? they're rugged as all hell. these guys aren't Condor.
