I am 82 years old and I am so intrigue for the quality of voice Matt Monro as a crooner exhibit world wide.especially in the Far East like Philippines. The young and old admire his songs and play his record even in the remote areas of the Islands. His music will never, never die . He gave us unforgettable memories with his concerts

Have recently purchased Michele's great book about Matt.........back in the mid seventies I sometimes saw Matt in a local pub......always a very pleasant person to talk to.
The greatest of them all. I've read the book. I got teary eyes. I love the man. I was at the Araneta Coliseum. I was awestruck, with that God's gift, the golden voice. 🙌💖

So many wonderful stories. This is the second time I have listened to the four episodes, and the section about Matt singing 'Michele' and holding his daughet's hand is beautiful. I also love the fact Michele Monro found the note from George Martin in Matt's case about the song.
It was the full, handwritten score found in Matt's touring case. The note was written by George at the launch of Michele's book at the bottom of the score which he authenticated.
@@MattMonro ..arhhh. I heard the the part about the handwritten score. I must have missed the full information when my wife gave me a cup of tea and a hotcross bun x
