They won Best Rock at the VMA's with this in 2023. The song is a combo of a love song and a last will. Damiano wrote it while they were in LA for a few months to work on the album, and he was getting homesick to his loved ones back home. Cause the rest of the band all had friends, and girlfriends and family visiting them. But Damiano's girlfriend at the time was sick and couldn't make the trip. So he was starting to feel lonely, and started thinking of what he'd want his loved ones to know if he died.

Maneskin is new discovery for me and l enjoy every single step along the way...there are only few songs that l skip from their 3 albums. I love them even more since l found out that they actually write their lyrics and music with few exceptions...they have it all: the talent the stage presence the style the passion and Damiano's voice is 🔥 just draws you in like the magnet... I like their Italian songs better but the English song are also amazing...l recommend Coraline or Torna a casa...Ciao

Good reaction, the name of the band name should be pronounced more like moan-eh-skin. It means moonshine in Danish although the band is Italian. I hope you react to more of their music it is incredible

They achieved fame in Italy at a very young age in 2017 following their participation in the eleventh edition of during X-Factor. The following year their debut album Il Ballo della Vita was released, containing the single Torna a casa, which established the group nationally, allowing them to undertake an extensive sold-out tour in Italy. Won the Eurosoncontest a few years ago...Italian Band...great!!!
You probably heard their cover of "Beggin'". Then you could listen to "Gossip" or "I wanna be your slave" or "Zitti e buoni". One of my favorite is "La paura del buio". There is a version with English subtitles from a live show on radio Italia.
If you want more ballads, Valentine (English),or "Torna a casa". And of course, "Coraline" but pick the one of the Sanremo festival with subtitles because it's important with that song.
I also like "Vent'anni" which means "20 years old". Their age when they wrote this song. When they got famous in Italy they were 14 (guitarist Thomas), 16 (drums Ethan and bass Victoria) and 17 (Vocals Damiano).

этот период в жизни группы, но ,для меня песня чуть чуть не вполне точно передаёт стиль Måneskin ... это будто интересная, сложная проба - в технике, в аранжировке, в обработке голоса... даже на концертах эту песню не изменяли и она оставалась довольно похожей на альбомную запись. А мне хотелось немного другой аранжировки live и голос Damiano казался слишком напряжённым, печальным, что ему не свойственно ❤️🩹.
Сейчас у Måneskin большой перерыв после мировых туров и очень любопытно, как будут звучать песни на фестивалях, как будет выглядеть группа 🎉!!!
