    JOooOoooO, vecais.

Wow that is one of the best videos I have seen when it comes to Cinema and 2D animation. This gave me hope with my future project. But how would you make a South Park style animation? You know, cutouts and swapping body parts like hands and mouths? I know South Park themselves make the show in Autodesk Maya. It`s basically planes in 3D space with textures on. So do you know how to do that in C4D? A smooth workflow where you swap the mouths with a slider for lip sync?
If you could make a tutorial on this, that would be great! And please don't speed up the video

Hey, thanks for the comment. I never knew they use Maya, I thought they have a specific 'only for them' program. :D
I guess they just enable/disable the planes. They probably have a lot of mouth drawings for each syllable etc.
You can make sliders like that in c4d, but I haven' t done that myself. So I can just suggest trying google :)

@@Mr_Anderson_one Yeah, the pilot episode of South Park, they used actual construction paper and basically made a stop motion with paper. Then they had it digitally made for four seasons in a 2D software. But then in season 5, they switched to Maya. According to them the workflow is a lot faster, and they have more freedom with special effects. They can actually produce an episode in less than 6 days.
I have found a way to do it now. You can use a cloner and keyframe the offset to switch between body parts. There is a video on Cineversity - 2D Character Animation Rig, Part 1.
But keep up the good work. I really liked your drawing style on these characters.

Nice! Yeah, I used to make my animated series in after effects (Search CZcams - Pētera dzīve, you will see the character from video) but when I made the switch to c4d (which took a lot of experimentation) I never looked back because it's a lot easier AND the possibilities are much greater!
