This is a very good video. I had no problem replacing the control arms on my 2000 Chevy truck. The only thing I had to do different is I had to unbolt the brake line to get one of the bolts out of the control arm. I saw that coming and was prepared to take it loose. Thanks again!!!

The A arm bolts go in from the inside out, it does make a difference. If you leveled your truck body with lifting keys.
You need different upper control arms. OEM \stock ones throw the camber off. It would be good idea to replace the (3) pitman idler arms and bracket, if you have a high milage truck.

A few heads ups for whoever does this in a different spec truck!
    1. If you have wheel speed sensors, you will need to buy new brackets for the wire. Part number 15715954, special order from GM or GMPartsGiant. For the time if you don’t have it just use a zip tie.
    2. You may need to undo the 10MM bolt for the metal brake line bracket to fully remove your camber bolts. You may also need to bend it upwards (gently!!!) out of the way.
Great video but just a few things I encountered.

Currently in the middle of this job on my folk's 2005 Sierra 4wd. It's from Vermont, two of the bolts that hold the control arms on broke. (One on each side) All of the bolts are stuck. I've tried heating them with MAP gas. air hammer, etc. I'm literally going to torch them out tomorrow. What should have been a simple job has tuned into a 2+ day affair.

+erik Hamilton Thanks for watching! Those are the cam adjustment brackets, so you will have to mark where the tabs are like he shows you in the video. You just mark where the tab is on the part where it mounts to. If you do not put them back in the same positions your cam will be off and will need to be taken in to an alignment shop. 1aauto.com
