    When using hole saws, I blow compressed air on them, it keeps them cool and keeps chips from binding up and ripping teeth off. Great work as always!

      I like to send the pilot three what I’m doing, score where the hole saw it self will cut, then drill another small hole where the saw scored so chips can fall out of the hole, and use compressed air 👍🏻 takes another minute longer but it works for me

    • @wirefeed3419
      @wirefeed3419 Před 2 lety +1

      Most important is to keep your drill speed and pressure low, to fast as used here over heats the drill teeth and shortens if not totally ends the drills life. .

    Pretty cool build. I repair small crushers like this for Rocklabs and am in Nevada now doing that. For your jaws you may want to see if you can get some hardened AR plate. The rocks will destroy the mild steel and rebar in no time.
    Watch for any deformation or cracks at the bottom, the pressure to crush rocks is incredible Great job, lots of work you have done.

    I think its already late, but I'm only found your channel now :)
    On industrial application we used triple washers, then couple of springwasher and a nylock for all the screws. Otherwise the vibration will loosen all your bolts. We use Countersung headed screws from the inside, so it is flat with surface(it wear out later), and from the outside you can use the pneumatic wrench to tighten it up(the conical surfaces friction holding it without a key on the otherside). And when the jaw plates needed replacement, we just torch cutted the bolts, and replaced them.
