Hana may be good with Silas, but Paladin Sakura requires sacrifices from all.
Is Paladin Sakura significantly better than falcon knight?
@@cryguy0000 I don’t remember the details and verdict, but Bad at Life talks about it EXTENSIVELY in his video on Sakura. I remember him saying Paladin Sakura was very good, but can’t remember how it stacked against Pegasus.
@@LoudWaffle The co-host mentioned that Paladin Sakura does get 4 less points of magic compared to Falcon Knight Sakura if you're looking for damage from Bolt Naginata. But does mention that Elbow Room gives her 3 attack does so really only loses 1 point of magic damage. Plus she won't be weak to bows so that is another plus.
Truly theres nothing stopping you from grabbing defender and elbow room from paladin and moving back to falcon knight to retain her original functions while also giving her good power on the bolt naginata, but honestly not having to worry about enemy archers is really liberating. Both work tbh. I will note that falcon knight Sakura at least makes sense outfit-wise. Garon's ban on pants extends to hoshidan riders too unfortunately.
Hana is probably my fates character that i will always try to use even if I don't think she is the best.
If you have dlc you can give her Lucina's class from before awakening. It gives aether,lances and still maintain her sword rank.

Hana might be my favourite FE character in terms of design, I just wish she was a little bit better... Also I will never forgive IG for nerfing her in Rev for whatever reason.
She's probably one of my favorites from Fates if we're just talking character design. Up there with Elise, Sakura, and Nyx

At least she starts with those stats early in Rev. But Odin, Laslow, Niles and Peri? Now that's a nerf
i just finished girls only run on hard difficulty rev and had to use hana out of necessity and she turned out pretty good. she can delete anyone on player phase and being the only proper sword user on my team, she gets to monopolize armorslayer and dual katana. when all things fail, she can chip with wakizashi at 2 range.
You have no idea how much I wish Onmyoji was better (in general, not just for Hana specifically). It’s in my top three classes in Fates for the outfit alone, to the point where I wind up using it anyway, and the skills are amazing, but man, those stats.
It's really good for magic pair ups though.
This is how I am for adventurer. Beat my iron man by making MU an adventurer with shining bow. Absolutely blowing everyone away with 30+ damage x2 and healing! Insane.
I had the wild brained idea to marry her with Hinata, which I dubbed the pairing Hanata
This gives her, Hinata and Hisame access to Swordfaire, Astra, Counter, Counter-Magic and Renewal
All 3 of them destroyed Birthright endgame
I did a rev run where I paired Master of arms Hana up with Keaton, and she was the glassiest glass tank I’ve ever seen. She had around 40 strength, along with the ability to control weapon triangle. She was one of the best player units on my team
I'm not currently a fates enjoyer (played Conq and Rev on release, borrowed Birthright, never gave em more than one run each.), but i listen to these at my second job to pass the time, and lemme tell ya, it makes me want to take the dive again

The game really shouldn’t have given you 3 samurai tbh. It really hard for them to stand out.
And SO many birthright characters heartseal into samurai too. I dunno why they were so obsessed with this class so much.
@@AwesublimeKaze and Saizo having Samurai as their Heart Seal and each other's Friendship Seal is especially some bullshit lol
I've never minded that there were 3 Samurai in the game, but I did mind that there were 3 Samurai, and then Saizo, Kaze, and Subaki all had Samurai as their heart seal options, meaning 6 potential Samurai after counting the most convenient reclassing option, and that does sort of bug me. 😅
Lots of samurai, lots of ninjas, one spear fighter, one oni savage, and no apothecary. Enjoy!

Hana was my favorite character along with Elise when the game released. She isn't that high anymore, but I'm still a big fan, so I don't have a good feeling about this 😅
EDIT: it wasn't as bad as I thought! I really need to try Mechanist Hana in the future, but my next Fates route is going to be Rev so probably not a good idea there?

She's my favorite from Fates. Birthright was my first FE so I was really bad at my first attempt but somehow she survived long enough for me to merry as everyone else died. I love her so much.
As a new player to fire emblem (fates was my second ever game after three houses and I started this year), Hana was someone I was just disappointed with. I loved her supports but when I got hinata I just asked my gf, “wait, does fire emblem jsut give you a better version of the unit two missions later?” And sadly yeah…
Oh it does that alright, pretty much every game in the series has units that come later in the game and completely overshadow some of the early game units.
I don’t think it’s an issue tho I actually think it’s fairly cool that some early joiners are just meant to be temporary and help you get by until you get better ones
As funny as it sounds, it’s almost a time-honoured tradition in the series 😅
The good thing about hana though is that she can give samurai/vantage to her husband/children which is the only option to get those for certain units so she has that going for her.

fire emblem warriors and three hopes exist, but id love a second go at one more up the lane of FE Heroes, doubt it'll happen thanks to 3D models and the sheer amount of characters, but LoZ AOC has given me high hopes for the next time they get their hands on Fire Emblem 👀

The first one has two lords with one being named Rowan, and the other one I don't remember her name but idr people really liking either of them, which from what I remember people super enjoyed Shez, the protagonist of 3 hopes, game might be worth looking into, certain aspects are imo, iffy at worst, but that's just how the permadeath functions when it's enabled
