I like the way they do their Post-Punk in their own way without other bands copying the tone of Molchat Doma, not that it's bad but Provoker is something unique.
Yeah, I thought the same, you instantly spot it’s them when you hear. I’m not a big fan of post-punk, because there are a lot of songs that, as you’ve said, sound Molchat Doma-ish and become pretty dull and boring after some time, but with these dudes it’s not only about doom and gloom, there is some bittersweet/dynamic undertone to it?
So what genre do you guys think they are?

@@bpllasgnfo7186definitely still post punk but just do it in their own way. some songs have more of a goth/dark wave feeling while othere are more upbeat like indie/alt rock
@@bpllasgnfo7186 Sorry for the make Waiting, They are a band that is always evolving musiically, They have already been Dark Wave, Gothic, Sometimes Punk but now it is something consistent I would say that for a long time they will do Post-Punk, Cold Wave songs only in their unique way which is this Soup of Letters that is Provoker, So I consider them a Dark Wave band.
@@Fati817h I see, it's something like letting go of the good feelings of the past, Nothing like a pure form of nostalgia, Even though Tone is a little less Depressive and Doom, I can feel a good energy from the past with Provoker, it's like visiting a place you haven't been for a long time.
