For no one there, these guys gave it all. This was a great show. Drummer awesome. Look at the other players---class.
As a black kid that grew up in the late '80s, played guitar, loved punk & thrash, the skater and bmx scene; imagine my delight when I saw this dude in a bumblebee Pittsburgh Pirates hate that looked like me shredding on guitar. I mean there was Dr Know and Vernon Reid but Rocky played my sh*t! And killed it! I'm self taught was getting frustrated trying to learn songs from my favorites like Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Anthrax, Sepultura, you know, the usual suspects, and seeing Rocky do it just gave me this extra boost of confidence. And he played Ibanez like me! lol. Side note, no better guitar than an early late '80s-'90s 500 series RG... Anyway, Rocky is definitely in my top 5 favorites with Vai, Skolnick, Friedman, and Stevie Ray. Give Rocky His 💐🌷🌹!!
My friend rocky was sooooooooooooo much better than vernon reed. . Rocky solos are so dangerous to play live and he doesnt care at all. .dude rips all the time. . Probably most overlooked guitarist ever ... when i write songs i ask myself WWRD ..if i think rocky would have done something different then i change my part.

Too bad he's underachieving with these guys. Harley spit out about every other word on Death Camps. Sometimes, great bands should just go the way of the dinosaur. What a shame... Love these guys when I was younger and still listen to Age of Quarrel and Best Wishes all the time. But this is sad...

I can't believe these guys are still around. I saw them at the Jane Hotel on West 12th Street back in ancient history -- probably around '84. It was a miracle that the balcony did not collapse. Is it still the same personnel? Amazing that these guys can still make a living off of punk. The Bad Brains and these guys were my favorites.

This is AWESOME…Jocko and Andrew Huberman’s podcast sent me here…All I’ve been able to listen to is medieval lute music and Mozart violin concertos lol (and by the way those are fab too) but I really like your music and can see why it’s been influential for those two guys😁👍🎶

No disrespect to JM I love both of them but Harley’s band got twin guitars, Rocky George going off on solos and needless to say Harley’s aggressive style makes them heavier and harder than the JM. Also they play Best Wishes, one of the heaviest/hardest hc albums of all time.
No disrespect to JM either, or to AJ (I'm a huge Leeway fan,) but I've seen them nearly 20 times and the sound is always disappointing compared to Harley's band. Once I saw Cro-mags JM and Cro-mags with Paris, Rocky, Harley and Gman, only 3 days apart, so I got to make a really good comparison. AJ's guitar sound is just weak and shitty sounding. Adding a second guitar would definitely help some, but they will never do that because they don't want to have to share the money with another person. Also, besides the guitar sound, Harley is a really skilled player and always has this signature, rumbling bass sound that gives the band so much more power. Even when you hear him warming up, you can tell it's him playing.

@@TYKE4EVR It was around the time that the 4 of them did the Revenge album, so it must have been 2000. They played at Bowery Ballroom in NYC. I also saw them 3 times with JJ, Harley, Doug Holland, Rocky, and Gman around 2001.

Hardcore scene had/has a lot of influence on me.
Back in my hometown only a few dudes knew the scene - I'm not from America - but got into through a book and definitely got me ! I was 18 and didn't fit, so, Bjj and weightlifting, along with HC were my favorite way of channeling all the energy !!! CroMags, St, pennywise, black flag... Damn ! 26 right now, fighting on !!!!
