40 years ago as a 13 yr old kid i heard Discharge for the first time ever and they completely blew me away, they were a band pioneering a new genre of music well ahead of their time.
It was 82' and no one was doing it faster and more honest. No Discharge, no Thrash, no Hardcore, no Black Metal, no Grind or Death!!! Nothing, say nothing.
Anyone who can command such a small Stage and make it better than a Stadium deserves my eternal respect.
There was NOTHING like Discharge. They changed everything...and influenced so much...Napalm Death, Atari Teenage Riot, Grindcore....

I love Tez being on guitar, he's got great stage presence and Dave is beat perfect, a 'proper' drummer.
Rainy is an enigma. It's like he's in a world of his own, separate, playing jazz! For some mad reason it fits perfectly with the rest of the music. He's an original member, big part of Discharge.

Even if it is a cover band, this set is way tighter and more intense than anything the real Discharge could manage (especially with just one guitar) in 82 or 83.
Definitely better live now than the early years , but 3 out of 4 original members is hardly a cover band !
