    James was a serious talent not just for us but he was for the premier league at one point. He should have been a bigger star unfortunately he was just a little bit lightweight, but as the first goal indicates he was capable of genius.

    Still say he's the best player to put on a Scotland jersey since King Kenny. He does things that are just magical and take your breath away, and does it out of nowhere. Keep in mind last year he was blighted with injury, if he can keep himself fit he'll equal the King's goal scoring record.

      @@BLUENOSEDANNY 😀😀😀. The problem is with the English league it's a bit overrated and transfers. You need a decent defence if you want to finish in the top 3 next season. Plus Lampard will give the younger players a chance. Instead of buying big transfers on average players. Should always use your youth to bring through. A lot of teams don't use these day's.

    @legandrydirk You didn't mention Jones, you mentioned Walcott and Milnder and that's it. I'm not talking about the age of the players, I'm talking about the experience they have at International level. And the fact is, that Spain's team of World Cup winners had a hell of a lot more international experience than England's team, when Walcott, Jones, Jagielka, Lescott, Parker, Milner and Bent have all never even played in a World Cup

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 13 lety

    @NoriokoTheMagicSkunk He needs to play up front,behind S Fletcher in a 4 4 1 1.So he can get on the ball and run with it.When he does that and he is on top form.There is not many people who will get near him.He is wasted out wide on the wing.We should play somebody like Snodgrass there.Who can deliver the amo,for the forwards to finish.Steven Naismith is a smashing wee player to.But even he cant deliver the same balls as Snoddy.McFadden has still got a lot 2 offer in a Scotland top after injury.

  • @legandrydirk

    @monstersocks72 Its players like Scott Allan he should be up looking at.Everton might actually get him,off Dundee Utd.Great little winger he is,low center of gravity.And has all the skills,and is quik.Has a great first touch,and a great cross.H will not be playing for them for long.And you should also watch there striker Johnny Russell.He is a busteling striker,who is good in the air.With a lot of good movement.Both will be full internationals any time soon.Russell is like a young Kenny Miller.

    @legandrydirk Před 13 lety

    @bensmfc Really is that why Alex Ferguson was our boss at Mexico 86?Fletcher usually plays in the holding role for Scotland.This is why he has not scored a lot of goals.And when he is fit,should always be in the team.Nothing to do with who he plays for.Its to do with what he can do.And he will be working with a lot of new EPL players,that he has not played with before.So should be on the same level as him.In some games I have watched,they could not read him.Before he changed the team.SAOR ALBA.

    @legandrydirk And also, Peter Crouch has scored a lot more goals at international level than Miller in a lot less caps. And don't try telling me that Crouch's goals all came against poor opposition, because the vast majority of Miller's goals have too. Also, Crouch and Heskey have both scored in World Cups, more than can be said of any Scottish striker at the minute. Anyway, what is the point in this debate?

  • @mhead4376
    @mhead4376 Před 12 lety

    @legandrydirk Exactly, an Arsenal reserve player is a first choice centre-back for Rangers, further stating my point that the SPL is shit. And Bocanegra, who Fulham got rid of years ago and ended up playing in the USA. How are they lies?

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 12 lety

    @monstersocks72 Miller played for Wolves and Derby County in the EPL.And is a proven goal scorer in the champions league,for both Rangers and Celtic.And is the 5th greatest all time goal scorer for Scotland at international level.Where he has scored goals against tope sides such as Germany and Italy.Go see his last goal for his country.If a English man had scored one like that.We would be hearing about it for ever.And Weir does not get a game for Rangers anymore.Shows you that you dont watch us

  • @mhead4376

    @legandrydirk Snodgrass is a fucking Championsh player! And Dorrans is a West Brom reserve, if they can't get in their teams at the minute, I seriously doubt they'd be any good for us, especially looking at how McFadden turned out for us

  • @mhead4376
    @mhead4376 Před 12 lety

    @legandrydirk Oh yeah, Wolves, Sunderland and Wigan are all great teams aren't they, really the sort of teams that a world class player would play for. And he left us midway through the 07/08 season, meaning he was with us for 4 and a half years, nice try though...

    Its tough to explain, players like Faddy clearly make up for a lack of pace with raw ability, I don't think it is pace that lets him down. I think it boils down to the fact he isn't so much of a team player when the going gets tough, Key players at top Prem clubs all seem to be grafters. Faddy is McGod but he can be lazy shite when he aint on form lol

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 13 lety

    @NoriokoTheMagicSkunk He knocked back Aberdeen yesterday.Your probably right about him.At least he still has his pride,not to sign for that shite.Working with wee Brown and Knox,might have been good for him though.I still think James can find a bigger club.At a higher level,even if its Turkey or Russia.He has a kid though,so he might not want to up sticks.But its a short carer.And he is best making as much as he can to set his family up for right.He is in the game for the football though 4 sure.

  • @mhead4376
    @mhead4376 Před 12 lety

    @legandrydirk And that is exactly the point, we missed out on those players because we can't afford them, because Moyes has to work on a shoestring budget. Again, the money that Moyes spent on those big signings like Fellaini has come from selling other players, it's not money that has been handed to him by the board. Learn a bit more about the club's politics before you try talking to a fan about what is going on at the club and what has gone on over the last 10 years

    @monstersocks72 Over 100 starts in 5 seasons at Everton,is not a lot of games.Some Everton fan you are,you said he was there for 4 seasons.Ferguson is in the championship,as he is getting slower.He will be 35 soon.He is still playing at a higher level than Beckham though.Henry said it in 2007.When he was at the top of his game.He will stay in the EPL,no matter if you keep him or not.WOLVES,WIGAN,SUNDERLAND all wanted him.Two of them might go down.But Sunderland would take him,U offered more cash

    @monstersocks72 Aberdeen and Dundee Utd never won things in Scotland in the 60ties,it was the 80ties.And Dundee Utd almost won the uefa cup.They put out Barcelona on the way to the final.And there was money in football in the 80ties.OK more came in the 90ties,but there vertainly was TV money happening in the 80ties.You actally got games on the BBC a lot more then to.And never needed to get ripped off on sky.Paying your licence was almost a good thing back then.

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 12 lety

    Well my thoughts are you signed our best striker.I believe that McGregor is a more saleable asset.If we are still around and can start a bidding war on him.Gordon cost £9 million and McGregor is Scotland number one.Dont think he is as good,but as a shot stopper he might be even better.And will find a EPL club no sweat,like Naismith,Whittakar and Davis will do.Tims bust there bubble never won the treble or the league at Ibrox.So we need 2 take sum comfort in that.Faddy no doubt be a Tim next time

    @monstersocks72 And Miller will be 33 soon.,how many strikers in the EPL are still playing after 32?I cant see many down there.And there is nothing wrong with him playing in the championship.When he has won everything else up in Scotland.He is challeging himself down there.And trying to go up with Cardiff.If that happens it will look good on his CV.Miller has scored against better teams for Scotland,than Crouch or Heskey did for England.He has scored more than Heskey to at international level.

    @legandrydirk Erm, what? Did you seriously just say that? There's a reason not many strikers are playing in the EPL after the age of 32, because chances are, players start declining after 30 and the standard of the league is so high that the older players can't keep up. Which is exactly why the likes of David Weir can still play week in week out in the SPL because it's a poss-poor league, when he would get absolutely terrorized in the EPL at this age

    Only down to Moyes holding grudges.They fell out before the first time,and that is why he left.Got told that bye his Uncle John.He is still picking up a good wage though now.How ever he is wasting his talent there.We need him for Scotland,he is not finished yet.Would have loved to see him go on loan,even to a shity struggeling championship side like Pompey or Bristol City.Just to get games and work him self back into the Scotland fold.Levein is the only boss that has said he was lazy

    @marcroberthigginso8 And thats cos he has been stuck on the wing for 4 seasons.When he is a striker.But even on the wing he is a pest.And thats why he is injuerd a lot,cos when he is on top of his game.All that they can do to stop him is kick him.But even then he gets up and gets right back intae them.Cos he knows who he is,and who he is representing.He is Clyde built,and theres more to come from him he is only 27.His best football is ahead of him.If he keeps it simple,he can play a lot better.

    @NoriokoTheMagicSkunk For Scotland he's been the best thing since Dalglish, and for all the clubs he's played for he's been a useless sack of shit. Everything you just said about Boyd, is exactly what McFadden is. And this is coming from an Everton fan who watched him on a regular basis for 4 years by the way

    @legandrydirk I don't even need to tell you why that is a pathetic comparison to make. Football is a completely different game than what it was in the 60's. No one had multi-billionaire owners, therefore everyone had a relatively equal chance at success

    @legandrydirk I believe I said "vast majority" that's not counting the one goal against Ukraine who are not even a top side. Getting to the last 16 of a World Cup might count as "far" for Scotland, but for the top nations, it isn't. And ok, whatever, the fact Weir played 37 times last season at the age of 40 is irrelevant, because you are obviously right with everything you say. Yeah you're right, I'm a mug for stating facts and you're a genius for spewing bullshit about how great Scotland are

    What is so funny lets see if he stays at Motherwell when he gets his fitness up.And gets the chance to move down south,were they money is.He is still only 29 and can still play at a higher level.I reckon he will get clubs abroad in for him to.The guy could easily play in Turkey or Spain.Even Hutton got a move to a Spanish club on loan.Lets see if he adapts his game,were he is not relying to much on pace.If he plays of the front two,he can still cos havoc with his running and skill to dribble it

    @legandrydirk Wow, this is a first... as it happens, I actually agree with you! I'd much rather keep these players in the team who have proven themselves against the star-studded world champions, than bring back the likes of Rooney, Terry and Ferdinand who don't give a fuck about playing or their country, just because of their reputations

    @legandrydirk And no, it wasn't because we offered more cash, it was because we were the only team that offered him a contract, Our financial situation is dire, if any of the other clubs really wanted him, they would have easily been able to offer more wages than us. No one else wanted him because he's shite, stop kidding yourself

    What are you talking about? Fulham made the Europa League final in 2010, 2 years after Davis left. When he played for them they survived relegation by the skin of their teeth. Yeah McFadden would have a great time in the CL wouldn't he, playing 2 qualifiers and getting knocked out by Brondby or Hajduk Split. Yeah he has no chance of winning medals at Everton does he, I mean it's not like he would be eligible for a winners medal if we won the FA Cup because he's played no part at all

    @monstersocks72 Our under 21 team beat Holland 2 1 in a qualfier in Holland.Go take a look how many times the Dutch have won the finals at that level.And sse what a great result it was for us.And I have not said once McFadden was world class.All I said is Henry said that he was along with B Ferguson.I think its you who has the mental issues.And Moyes never found him.I am pretty sure Billy Davies was Motherwell boss that gave him his big break.If not it was Alex McLeish.Moyes never spottted him.

    Yeah he would be playing for a bigger club and would have a chance of winning things, yet he would have more of a chance of getting in Celtic's first team than he has of getting in ours. Work that one out...

    @monstersocks72 I told you I like Liverpudlians.What cant you not believe about that?And Scots get on with the English in general.The fact that 900 000 of us voted for the SNP,has nothing to do with the English.England does not make up the whole of the UK.Its to do with being anti British.Having two countries is a cop out.When your on holiday,you dont say your British.You say your English,or Scottish or whatever.And that in its self,tells you that the UK is over and doomed.Yer jeolous he made it

  • @mhead4376
    @mhead4376 Před 12 lety

    @legandrydirk So basically, you're saying that I'm jealous of every player who has ever played for the club, and that I now hate them all? Really?! Oh wow... and yeah, the old firm derby is much better than the Premier League you're right, I mean it's not as if Celtic and Rangers squads are made up entirely of ex-Championship players such as Kris Commons, Joe Ledley, Kyle Lafferty and a 41 year-old David Weir who was too old for the EPL 6 years ago

  • @mhead4376
    @mhead4376 Před 12 lety

    @legandrydirk At least we qualified for the Champions League under Moyes, and also Europa League multiple times, after finishing in the bottom half 3 successive years under Smith. And what point are you even trying to make? I know Liverpool are more successful than us, they are also more successful than any Scottish team. And Celtic are a fuck of a lot more successful than Rangers, because they have won the European Cup. So they should finish above us aswell, spending £200m on their squad

    @monstersocks72 So you have never played football?And dreamed of pulling on that blue shirt then?And running on to Goodision on a hot summers day in the derby?You will never know what that feels like.And you know like we all do.He would rather do it in the bigger better one against Rangers.And I hope even though he is to good for the tims,that he gets to feel that pride one day.Something deep down inside your heart you still yearn for.It hurts to see others do it,that are not even Scousers yes?

  • @legandrydirk
    @legandrydirk Před 12 lety

    @monstersocks72 Rangers almost got to the Cahmpions league final in 92.We were un beaten there that year.French corruption cost us our place.And Rangers have been to as many finals as Celtic,maybe not the big one.But we have had more European nights in the champions league.Also domesticly Rangers are the best in world football.And the only team in Britain to win every league game.The only other team to ever do that is one of the Prague sides.So Everton cant win with kids then?Just give up then.

    @monstersocks72 Spurs are scouting Forester,and Man United are scouting Rhodes.So no its you that is talking shit.Just cos you have never heard of them counts for shit.Arsenal were up watching Ness last year to.The lad is the best player Walter Smith has worked with according to him.And he has worked with a young Wayne Rooney.Hanley never even played tonight.Who plays for Blackburn Rovers.Ness has better passing than Adam for his age.And will go right to the top.He has the lot,just needs goals.
