    Theres an ultrasound armband to control prosthetic hand, do you know how it can be made? thank you

    Right, so a one dimensional ultrasound sensor just made this whole song and the solo from what I understand.

    Hey ich suche eine Möglichkeit mit einem Ultraschallsensor die Schichtdicke zu messen. Das soll am Ende am Computer ausgelesen und analysiert werden. Denkst du dafür ist ein Aufbau geeignet? In welchem Messbereich liegt denn dein Sensor genau?
    Vielen Dank geht mega Projekt

      Hallo! Das müsste funktionieren. Ich werte 120 mikrosekunden bzw. 240 usek aus. Mit der bekannten schallgeschwindigkeit im jeweiligen Medium kannst du dann die Strecken ausrechnen...

    How difficult do you think it would be to introduce an audio step-down and output, to convert the ultrasound returns to audible sound? That's the other big thing a medical ultrasound does in any form. In fact there are baby monitors and vascular monitors which have no display at all but only a converted audio return. It's used to locate a fetal heartbeat or indicate where arteries are which can't be palpated or look for blockages. Typically the probes are available in 1 MHz, 5MHz (as yours), and 8MHz versions. The fanciest of that series also have displays which show the output level graphically oscilloscope-style and not imaged. Not sure which probe frequency gets better penetration or why one would use one over the other.

      You'd see nothing more because this very basic sonar is mono-dimensional (assuming that the transducer has a narrow lobe, otherwise it's unusable anyway for that purpose). Real body sonography use complex transducer phased arrays which allow "synthetic aperture". In simpler words: They send and receive ultrasound beams in electronically controlled directions. (This requires multichannel processing and phase control). So you can scan 2D "slices" by making the direction sweep. The operator moves the probe up and down to select the more interesting 2D slice.

    Ich saß gestern eine halbe Stunde lang beim Arzt vor einem Ultraschallgerät und hab mir Gedanken gemacht, wie ich sowas selbst bauen würde. Tatsächlich war meine Idee deiner Umsetzung ziemlich ähnlich, allerdings hätte ich nicht gedacht, dass der Arduino zeitlich den Analogeingang so gut auflösen kann.
    Cooles Projekt, aber schade, dass es nur ein Wasserballon war und kein echtes menschliches Gewebe :D Oder wenigstens der Ballon mit etwas drin.
    Edit: Hab grad Teil 2 entdeckt :D Danke!

    • @stoppi
      @stoppi  Před 4 lety

      Hallo! Viel mehr ist aus einem lackdickenmesskopf wohl nicht heraus zu bekommen. Mit einiger Anpassung liest der arduino auch die analogwerte ausreichend schnell ein (Stichwort fast analogread)... Vielleicht versucht du es ja auch und kommst ggf. Weiter als ich ;-)
