If they were so good, police would already use them. Also, where would you put half a ton of police equipment in a Charger? Back in the day, he was a massive hit. I, for myself, am on the fence. The stuff is entertaining as hell, on the other side he is endangering a lot of people doing this. The same goes for the cops. If their ego had let them, they would have stopped the chases after they tried to stop him once.
I live very close to a road that is favoured by sportsbike riders for wheelies and pulls. The police come here often but they never really chase anyone, they just show that they are outthere and usually that will make the bikers go elsewhere (if only for a couple of hours). I too am on the fence about this because I ride aswell, and I know how fun it is to go full hooligan, and also the enginenoise doesn't bother me. BUT we do have alot of kids, pets and elderly living in the area, and it could end tragically some day. We all take a risk when we get on our bikes, but we should only be risking our own health.

This guy is the one that got me to start riding. My CZcams is outdated but I’ve become such a great rider just watching his old videos and listening to him handle the engine. I became in tune with the bikes I ride as well there’s a underlying language you can’t explain it man

My brother and I worked at the local Ford dealer in our small town, since the police department had all Ford vehicles they would bring their vehicles in for service so my brother and I knew all the cops pretty well. 1 of the officers would give his own mother a ticket he was very serious but he wasn't a bad guy, just very serious. My brother had a Honda 600 street bike and he would go riding with his friends, 1 day him his buddy Chuck and a bunch of other guys were heading out of town to get on interstate 55N heading towards Chicago. My brother and Chuck were leading the pack but what that didn't know was Mr. Serious the cop was following their group out of town. As soon as they hit the on ramp to 55N they dropped the hammer on their bikes and were racing towards Joliet . After so long my brother and Chuck realized they were all alone so they got off on a exit and pulled into a diner to wait for the group, well luckily for them a guy in a car pulled up to them asking if they just got off 55N because the cops are shutting down all the exits waiting for you, this guy had a police scanner. So my brother and Chuck had to take gravel roads home to avoid the cops. Monday comes along and Mr. Serious the cop came in to get his car serviced and my brother overheard him telling our service lady about how these Assholes on street bikes out ran him the other day but he almost caught them, My brother told me "He almost caught us, We had no idea he was even chasing us" My brother luckily got rid of his bike before he got into a accident because he rode that bike wide open everywhere he went

Those suzuki lumps are so fast and bombproof. Great cranks, gearbox and transmission. The GS 1000 started it off, they were tuned at Santa Pod then came 8 valve heads then oil cooled gsxr1100, water cooled gsxr1000 until the k5 which was the best till hayabusa.
The gs1000 was scarey on those crossply tyres and handling wasnt great but compared to Z900 it was good. Kawasaki in 1970s were awful. I had a 1976 z650c i hammered right into the redline but the handling was dodgy but the gs750 was the best handling of the early riceburners. Great times, no speed cameras and para boots, army greens and leathers. The mad mile at box hill sundays was great. The trick was seeing people doing a ton round the mickelham bends between the roundabouts but the cops got wise to it.
I just love how, at 14:28 the police could have gone the wrong way thru the roundabout.. the lights are on; they can do what the think fit .. yet, being Swedish, they divert to the correct direction!
