I’ve quit watching those bigger channels. They get a new bike then get all the upgrades for free. Not for the working man. Keep up the great work.
Hi Keith! I've wondered the same thing too. When these new bikes are acquired sometimes there are thousands and thousands of dollars of upgrades that happen very quickly. I do wonder who pays, but maybe we already know the answer. Thank you very much for watching!

Ty, I love your content. I could care less how many subscribers a creator has, how tight or high profile they’ve become with HD Corporate. When I started watching YT years ago, I was between seasons where I parted with a bike that I had such sentimental value for, and had not yet bought another bike. That season lasted much longer than I had hoped. I drew a great deal of motivation, encouragement from creators whom I felt enjoyed our biking community in many of the same ways I did. I love an upgraded bike, half the fun is personalizing it, for me. Always enjoyed day rides, road trips, the photo opportunities out amongst our God-given epic landscape we get to ride thru, charity events, dealer bbqs, our rallies, and come alongside the greatest community in the land. We must have healthy Community today in our lives, more so than ever before. I searched and connected with those types of creators and enjoy their content often. You’re one of them, brother. What you do for us is a big effort no doubt. I appreciate you for it. Certainly you do this, and share with us, for the love and passion you have for riding; not for a paycheck or notoriety. Everyone has to find their niche, what fuels them, both as a creator and a subscriber, keeping themselves excited to have a place in this family of riders. And we’ll remain faithful to each other from within.

So many we meet at a gas pump or a mom n pop diner, in just a short period of time, live vicariously thru our experiences. They love to know ‘where you comin from…. Where you headin too….’ We all have a gift of encouragement in those moments…. brother, enjoy your day riding out amongst it! You do you, keep every ride special for you. Your content and narration resonate with each of us.

My channel is incredibly small, and I completely agree with your comments. I have no plans to sell products and on the rare occasions when companies send me products to review their products, I usually give the items to subscribers. There are many people who start a channel for money and free stuff, and that doesn’t work. I’m simply having fun, and if my channel grows, it grows. I’m not here to be the biggest or to make money. I just want to enjoy my hobby.

Another great video Ty! I’ve recently found myself just skipping over channels that I used to love to watch. Not because I still don’t like the people, I’m just not interested in too much product promotion. It’s like drinking or eating…a little is ok, too much can be a problem. And by problem, I just mean I don’t find myself really wanting to watch anymore. Thanks again, nice job as always 👊🏼
I am right there with you and I have been doing that for a while now. Lots of great channels out there, but some of the products I'm just not interested in, but I do try to watch and support as many people as I can. Love your videos my friend. Keep it up and you're gonna do just fine on CZcams in no time!!

I have seen panic and fear from content creators about what to do next because their last video didn't get many views. I generally watch CZcams videos because I am wanting to learn more about motorcycles. This is all very new to me (since summer 2023) and I never really watched a lot of CZcams before my husband bought his trike. I enjoy watching folks from Tennessee and women riders who are being themselves and not some hot bimbo.

Valuing other peoples time and making videos are often in conflict in my head.
I often end up with "why would somebody want to watch this, what value am i bringing to the person watching"
and then sometimes i'm like "this was a lot of fun to do and make and thats all i need"

I think unfortunately money is a big driver for most of us and we each have different limits on what end we would go to to earn.
It is a difficult topic. I think the viewer does appreciate authenticity and simplicity, but we have also been conditioned for decades to get attracted to marketing tricks, click baits, and cheap entertainment. This is why those tactics work and get utilized by content creators.

Great video and topic. I definitely agree with you about they can do whatever they want, even if it’s not the same thing I’m doing. I’m really enjoying the smaller channels lately that don’t focus so much on gear or what they ride. But focus on why they ride and where they go.

Good video Ty, I feel much the same way. This is largely why I watch mostly smaller motovlog channels (and keep my own channel small in scope too), they just feel more authentic to me.

You are spot on! I find most times now if you’re not on or Bodean52, or one of the smaller channels I will pass on most them. I will admit if something catches my personal interest I may check it out. Maybe this is kinda off base but most times those large channels seem to get a lot of things given to them and they don’t have to work to earn the things that they put on their bikes. Just my opinion, but that’s what I think. keep up the good work, Ty.

You’re 100% correct, Ty. Personally, I’m getting tired of most of the motovlogging channels as they’re pretty much all the same. Literally 99% of them just bought the same bike (2024 Road Glide) in the past couple of months 😂

I understand your point and why many would think that way. That said, I follow and talk with two of those channels and they are good people. To be honest, doesn’t bother me and I stop following a few of them because it gets to that. Great video!

Well said, I could go on on this subject for days. I think some of us are lucky enough, that making a living from YT isn't a dream, or need. For a lot of small channels, if they can make some money, it is a big deal for them, and if they could make a living at it, they would do whatever they can to make that happen. I understand why a lot of the big channels do what they do to make the money. I find a lot of the large channels to be unauthentic though, I always have and don't watch very many of them.

I rewatched your video about memberships and channels asking for "coffee" money. I still agree with your stance. And my how some things have changed with other channels...lol. I also remember a time when we, as the motovlogging community, said we wanted more representation and (for lack of a better word) recognition from top brands in the motorcycle community. Polaris sort of beat HD to this with its ambassador program then HD started bringing motovloggers into their fold. But now, it seems IMO that even that has gotten out of hand...maybe?
Good point Toby. While I’m grateful that HD is listening to motovloggers to some degree. I think part of the problem is that they sure are being very selective to a small number. It would be nice to see them give some small channels the same opportunity with nothing to lose. Thanks Toby and I really appreciate your time sir.

Whats up Ty I know your at white lightning alot have you seen the 21 road glide black on black with 3300 miles just bought it. 🤦♂️went on my first ride rear brake master cylinder leaking bad leaving spots on the road so going back in Theresa told me they did a flush on it so hopefully they fix it wish me luck haha
Congratulations on an awesome motorcycle, but that's a bummer. There's nothing more disappointing than a motorcycle breakdown. I'm sue Theresa will get you all fixed up. I also think it’s important to unsubscribe from those big channels to send a message to get back to reality. I used to enjoy watching CZcams. They’ve ruined it. I now look for much smaller channels with real people not looking to scam us with sponsored crap
I no longer watch or subscribe to many big CZcams channels either. What a shame too...
very good video.. not sure if i seen the poll being been busy with things around here over the last week. Yes and no for the HD events would be my answer. I say that because I get that they are trying to do promos in a different way and reach the hardcore riders basically instead of just making a commercial for tv alone to showcase bikes. That said though they have though I've noticed since they started doing those events left out certain groups which is where a possible problem could be seen being I've noticed trikes, Sportster S/nightster, and a couple other of their bikes and communities within the HD brand be left out nearly completely which does kinda makes some of us wonder if we are considered part of the HD community when HD themselves don't involve us in any of the events. I do know there's not a ton of YT channels for those bikes as well but there are those of us that are trying and do make content for them. As for content being recycled what setup works works though I do get the idea of trying something new but there's always someone out there that's gonna try it or has done it but just so small that its not noticed by many then a big channel does it and wow its a new crave even though there's been someone somewhere doing it for awhile.
Wow! You have made such a great point. I didn't even think about the other types of bikes that you mentioned. Yes, I can see where that part of the motorcycle community would most certainly feel left out. Hopefully H-D can correct that issue and find an ambassador for those lines. I like your content and getting sick of the 2024 Harley Bagger content. I have unsubbed from several of the bigger channels for them being sellouts but they think they are influencers or ambassadors for brands IMO they are SELLOUTS and I wont support them by watching their channels
It can really be tough, ya know. I guess sometimes money and sponsorships just get in the way. I'm sure many of them that do such things are wonderful people, but it's tough to support a CZcams strategy like that, for me. Thank you so very much for watching! I do love the 24 RoadGlides, but I'm staying with my 23 for a few more years at least....

The bigs are almost all corporate-sponsored now, and it definitely drives some or all of what they do. I'm not on board with that.
LOL, you won't reach back in and ask for money... me either. But only because I haven't figured out what extra value the viewer is gonna get - I already waste an hour of their time per week :D

I do value all content creators, but I have to agree pitching the same product on every episode gets a bit much. Completely going over their bike in every episode. If they add something I do want to hear about it. I also get it the more they mention a company's name they probably get more free merch good for them. I mean how many times can you show your luggage rack and the name brand luggage you use. This is a good video for you.

I miss the old CZcams. Used to watch something, and other things related would show up. Now it'll play the same videos I've seen many times. It's pushing ADD content. Instead of related, interesting content. Yes I watch less if they are selling a bunch of shit. Except a couple local channel I really like.
I've heard similar issues from others too. I use CZcams Premium so it let's me watch without commercials. I watch so much CZcams that I think it's worth the expense. Thank you so very much for watching today!

It's just true; it's mostly garbage, much is BULL 💩, and most is useless misinformation.
I use CZcams for meeting people (like you) who I would otherwise not meet nor get to know.
Some of your stuff has sucked too... but, for the most part, I've enjoyed getting to know you and your goofy dog.

Here's a way yo notice...If a channel has 97k subs and their latest video has 7 comments...thats so obvious right there...And people need to realize, it's the Views that matter, not the number of subs...And with the $.. People who do this for the $ will get burnt out and annoyed when they see they're not making what they had hoped..Love you guys🙏🏞️🌄🐻
