As soon as I saw the thumbnail with all of those Crossfire amps, I had a pretty good idea that's who it was. Crazy that it sounds so good with all of that tape.

+THELIFEOFPRICE i have been watching alot of your videos now and i am interested in trying car audio subs instead of commercial stuff that i have like jbl and electro voice. What sub do you recommend in an 18" driver. I will still keep with running AC power amplifiers on these like crown i-tech 12000 so it will move em pretty good!!! I have had a DD 9918 for awhile and was impressed!

I had two djl pops 12's. 3.4 cubes @34 Hz. d2 coils wired to 2 ohms with 8guage kicker power wire (to the subs) on an mrp1000 alpine. 53in^2 port area. surrounds deteriorated(Gorilla tape baby!), one of them ripped out of the box. (had to use a bolt, fender washer and nut to hold it down.) I never had this metered but in my 91 Civic I was hitting somewhere in the low 140's at least. I think the vehicle played a big part in how loud it was in addition to my placement the box (bolted down exactly 5 inches from the trunk). windshield flex, roof flex, trunk latch ripped out of my frame so I welded it lower on the frame (=no rattle).(gained more db's) ;)
I once threw together a setup for 195 bucks Total! used kole kmx 15. slightly less port area than the 2 12 box on an mrp-450. hit a 139.6 @ 41hz ( young Jeezy air Force's) 138.8 at 38hz(Tyga lapdance) and a 137.6@ 37hz (Gucci mane Atlanta zoo)

JP u got to come to charleston man. I ain't so sure anyone has nothing like that but there's some pretty heavy systems here. I love my crossfires. I'm only running 6) c7 15s but if was to being some equipment to one of the shows u wouldn't have to have to haul it back. The few place local that sell sundown u pretty much have to trade ur girl and first born to get it. I'll tell everyone to check out your website but they all want it now and can't wait a couple of days so they pay the crazy prices an end up with some nice speakers running a Hifonics amp LOL

I understand Metric also, but yeah its 15MPH you need to be going a bit faster then that to break the sensor.
+MazdaBass971 infact the minimum speed is ~8-14 mph and is calculated based on vehicle mass/stiffness ratio..mecanical sensors was a thing in early 90's and its all digital accelerometers now
