Taylor Dunn B2-54 Project

A couple of slides then the video will roll on.So here Is a walkaround of my Taylor Dunn 36 volt burden carrier.I purchased it from HGR sales in Cleveland,OH for $400.The flatbed was not working when I got it.The sprocket on the motor was wiped out.I didn't have time to wait on ordering a part so I put the old sprocket in a lathe and turned the old teeth off.I then took 2 #35 sprockets and opend up the I.D. to slide onto the old sprocket were i had turned it down.I then welded the assembly together.
Put her all back together.Installed some new batteries,and she was off and running.I find this flatbed more usefull than any golfcart.I can still haul people on it plus haul material around the farm.
I hope to get time this winter to clean it up and put a folding seat in the middle so i can have 2 seats and have the second one fold down to still have a complete flatbed when I need to haul stuff.
