Well now this seems like a good use of my starter deck pieces. If Greymon wasn't so popular as a archetype I could probably build it cheap but fortunately I have some odl MTG stuff I'm not using for Commander and Secret Rare Angemon to move so I can at least play with my friends more competitive stuff this season and if our LGS starts doing Digimon events I got a deck that can at least earn a pack or two per night. Seems solid!
i run 1 zwart and that card comes in clutch bringing back 2 of my blockers
I believe the omni can act as a blocker with the Tai if the omni was a greymon that was selected as a blocker a start of main phase.
This is true. I meant if the Omni is still in play at the beginning of your main phase.

Played this today at locals! It fucking slaps bro!! 4 rounds and I was undefeated. 2-0d everyone! Shit is nasty! The match ups:
R1: Fenril 2-0
R2: Yellow Vaccine 2-0
R3: Bloom/hydra 2-0
R4: Fenril 2-0

you said you play black base because of greymon but (black) greymon can evo onto red agumons, or em I misunderstanding
That's my fault for not elaborating. You can't search any of the all red greymon cards with the black training cards.
Love the deck, would really like to see some gameplay tho before I invest in a 50$ deathX XD

Yeah, I would just recommend playing a 3rd Merciful if you don't have a DeathX. Especially with it getting reprinted soon.
@@DigiSean37 one more structure agu seems to be good soo i went with that, been doing well with it, but decks that have tamers like hunters or blue flare just fks me up XD
You could consider playing a 3rd Hades Force to see it more often

only a couple. Nothing crazy. I cut DeathX and switched out ST agus for EX4 Agus and bumped them to 3
I am curious on your thoughts on BT9 Gaiomon, i know having a top end virus is risky because of vaccine, but I think the Sec plus and de evo on him would be really sick.
It is a very good card, but I'd be hesitant to replace WarGrey as he is the only Vaccine level 6. I also wouldn't want to replace BlackWar X since his removal effect is so good in so many situations.
No deathx so maybe I'll run the 3 merciful. 3 of my 6 bt14 matchups so far have been against yellow vaccine, and i have been thinking of trying something like this, particularly bt11 metal x to get around things like Shadowseraphimon.
Yeah, that's what I would do if I didn't have DeathX as well.
DeathXmon being a secret rare in a short-printed set has been quite an annoyance for quite a while. He should have been a SR.
BT9 wasn't short printed, but it definitely is more expensive than any 1 card for this game should be. Great news though! It's getting a reprint VERY soon in English.
@@DigiSean37 it was short-printed. No other set was that hard to find as soon as it came out. I heard it might have been among the things on those ships that got caught in the canal blockage.
I love the blocker version. but aren't there too many graymon bt12s? much better 2 copies of graymon x red
You can’t play the red one because you’re running the black package. Unless you only want to have 7 level 4s that can evo over all your rookies with the exception of bt12 agu
Yeah, that and I didn't want to play any pieces I couldn't search off the Training cards. My ratios are so low, that I couldn't afford to whiff on a level with a search.
@@johnnystephens259 It is not true. all black based lists use at least 2 graymon x reds. I myself play 2 and 3 gray bt12. they never bother you
@@johnnystephens259 this is the first list without red x's. they help too much to remove them. in addition to the fact that you can add them with both agumon x black and agumon bt12
@@rodhgaralto no one was saying that you can’t add them off the agus. But you can’t add them off the black training card. You can’t afford to miss your lines this format or you’re going to lose quickly. Eventually you’re going to have a black agu and the red Greymon x as your line and you just aren’t going to be able to play.
Good and all but how this deck win mirage?(zudomon -gomamon turbo)?
X antibody keeps Zudo from doing anything to your dudes. Mirage gets stonewalled by your giant blockers. Also if you see Hades force it's ogre for their tamers.
are you playing this deck against looga and yellow vaccine? how is it against otk raid wargrey? doesnt red just beat this deck cause it will gain more dp
It's very good into both of those matchups. Against Raid OTK, you just treat it like the mirror and don't promote something to get Raided into first. You can get bigger than them and respond to their stack pretty easily once they push out of raising first. You just stack tamers and training cards until they get impatient.

It can't. You only digivolve on top of your MetalGreymons
Yeah, they are just 2 different megas. Unfortunately, one cannot evo on top of the other without playing something like Digital Translator.
Black base is better for this deck
