- See how to flatten your bowed Big Shot Cutting Pads! The music can not be removed. Once the music was added, it could not be removed. I could not refilm the video either since my plates had already been flattened.

You are welcome! BUT, this video was from 9 years ago so I am sure the current plates have a different chemical composition. Proceed with caution if you try this method. I tend to store my clear plates in the Cut and Emboss machine, in the middle of the platform when not in use and this keeps them at a reasonably flat.
This worked perfectly! It is the only method that has worked for me, and I have tried a lot of ways that were recommended on other sites. Thanks so much.

Thanks for the tip. I had to laugh at the comment about the music because I was thinking, "What music?". I guess I blocked it out bcuz I was listening to you. Okay, I watched again. I was tapping feet to it. Love the choice. Not annoying as some videos I've watched. ;)

The fumes are extremely toxic do not do this.
As with everything in life, proceed with caution and use your best judgement. The plates were warmed and not melted. Also, did you notice this video was from 9 years ago? Couldn't watch your video. The music is TOTALLY unnecessary!
I agree the music was over the top! But this was filmed 3 years ago and I seem to recall that once the music was attached, ! could not get it unattached. And I had no more plates to flatten! I have since just keep on flipping my cutting pads while using them in the Big Shot which has keep them reasonably flat. I have not had the crazy warping I share in the video.
I know what you mean. CZcams 3 years ago did some really stupid stuff to the audio and video. I think that's why I'm getting bald! :)
