And it has been confirmed that the Belgian triangle was there, and there was a whole series of craft there and the red eyed colonel halt saw the glowing object came out of the bottom, just like the police and Belgium reported with the Belgian triangle, the radio our operators realize that if they disclose that they see flying. Sauces on radar they are sent to a other places and they did it. They've refused to report it. But they did come back later and tell us what they saw. They Observed the Belgian triangle. They also observe onedire tracking these objects. Which James Holberg says neva would have happened. But it did and they came back and they even told colonel halt that we saw it, but we were afraid to report it.

For those that accuse Rossco of being a "ufo hack" this interview was performed more than a decade before he became invested in the subject upon approx 30 years since the incient while working for mainstream channel 7 (someone else calling the shots). This was during Rossco's extensive prime as a mainstream journalist. This shows his integrity as a neutral, highly professional journalist doing nothing but excellent reporting on a topic of interest. The inteview was performed with dignity and without ridicule. I highlight this to show Ross has long been a journalist of high professionalism and integrity and hasn't just jumped on the topic yesterday for views. He cares and does his research. I really hope this helps dispell some of the disgraceful and unwarranted opinions I've heared being put out there about Ross. He's simply a curious, professional, investigative journalist.

I totally agree with you. However, this is the first time I ever heard a more detailed interview with Colonel Halt about this incident. Previously, I have heard him discussing this incident on TV programs and CZcams videos, but not with this much intensity. So I personally think Ross Coulthart has done a fantastic job, and Colonel Halt ability stood up to his scrutiny extremely well.
Also, I don't know if you or anyone is aware of this. About four years later, one of the first ever books about the Rendlesham Forest incident was published. It was called Sky Crash by Brenda Butler and Jenny Randles. If you haven't got a copy of that book, put it on your bucket list because it's worth getting your paws on.
I like the fact that you said that this case isn't discussed by UFO enthusiasts and I'm not disagreeing with you, I am a paranormal/UFO enthusiast who has been studying these subjects for almost 40 years and as you say "The Rendlesham Forest Incident" does rank as one of the top three compelling cases ion modern history.

Went camping in Rendlesham forest and got speaking to a local retired woodsman....he confirmed it really happend and the authorities closed the area for 3 weeks after the incident. No one was allowed to enter the area after the incident and the area was sealed off by the police.
I lived in Suffolk back then. It was either the Bury Free Press or East Anglian newspaper, that they had it on the front page. Freaked us out....but plenty of people made a joke out of it. It's not lost on me having Mildenhall and Lakenheath, Honington and bases in Norfolk so close by. 👽

Thanks 7NEWS Spotlight for reposting this interview. I just visited Rendlesham Forest last week and hiked the UFO trail. Took lots of pics and tried to imagine what these airmen saw out there in the woods and the field. Fascinating story!
I walk in Rendlesham Forest most weekends. Did you visit Orford too? Years ago I was told by a Forestry worker that the airmen saw the lighthouse at Orford. I always thought that was an insane explanation
@@knockedoutloaded No I didn't make it to Orford. Forest was very nice though, with all the pine needles and stuff.
It struck me hard when he was talking about the object 'shedding material, like molten metal'... i had an encounter with about 6 of my friends around the year 2000 in Brisbane, Australia which was very detailed and prolonged, and had many similarities. It began with my mate Nick pointing up at the sky and saying 'hey guys what the hell is that!?' We all looked up and a few kms away we could see a large ball of red / orange light slowly moving from right to left and it was showering 'sparks' as it moved across the sky very slowly, while not losing altitude. The best way i can describe it was like a party sparkler but in a really heavy shower falling off of it. It then turned into a solid light, stopped, was joined by another light which began spinning around it and moved back the way it had come from.. and what happened after that was about 20 - 30 minutes of the most incredible phenomenon i have ever even read about. There was multiple crafts, a colossal triangular mother ship, a craft was flashing alternating grid patterns of light in what appeared to be some sort of code at us, one of the craft projected a massive spotlight on the ground that would have been hundreds of metres in diameter.. and eventually they all converged way up in the sky and slowly drifted away, so high it looked like a star and then just vanished. Until you see it with your own eyes you have the right to be sceptical, but when you have the experience in full detail for yourself, sceptics become a bit laughable really... theres not a person alive that could rationalise to me that what we saw that night wasnt extraterrestrial. Its just a fact that i know now.

@deborahstone9696 No, unfortunately this was back around the time when our mobile phones didnt even have cameras in them, and it was rare that one of us would actually be carrying a camera with us unless it was an occasion of some sort. We were just hanging out behind the local shops.

What about angelic. We look for other life’s to show up but what if instead of little green men it is angels and demons . Moving in a manner that does seem impossible for humanity because it did not originate from human at any kind of biological being . Angels have the capability to move spirit and matter fly and jump time and space . They can be with us personally or in our minds in spirit . They are alien to us because we are separated from them completely.

I believe him. I am from the UK and live in a UFO hot spot area (Rossendale, Lancashire, England)
I saw a UAP back in 1987.
It was silent and circular. It had a rotating disk on the belly of the craft. It was also titled. The rotating disk had very small square windows - as if they had cameras or scanning equipment behind them.
I would say it was a probe because it zoomed away so fast, no human would have survived the forces.

I've seen Col. Halt interviewed numerous times over the years, but never with this almost forensic intensity. Though it may be 15 years old, I learned some new things about the Rendlesham Forest Incident watching this. I also see something of the lawyer in Ross Coulthart's questioning...he is certainly tenacious! I guess that explains why he wins those awards!

Hands down the best interview of Charles I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen probably everything on this case there is out there. Outstanding!
I was a medical secretary (actually for the US Air Force for a couple of years) and then a legal secretary until I retired. Until computers appeared, my bosses would dictate their correspondence or medical reports or pleadings, and I would transcribe them. I can attest to the fact that each time the recorder was stopped and restarted, there was a clicking sound. I don't know whether UAPs are aliens or not, but unexplained things have been seen in the sky for hundreds of years, so.... if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, it's probably a duck. This interview was great. Col Halt was clear, calm and positive about every thing he saw and did. I do believe him. And Ross Coulthart is an impressive journalist.
Nothing like a practical sceptic that is highly trained in current technology describing something so beyond logic that it shakes them to the core . Loved this Ross and you asked everything right and Colonel Charles Halt is impressive and very qualified to be interviewed.

My friend and I had an amazing experience in 1970 on the Yorkshire Moors. A 15 minute display of UFOS criss crossing overhead. One peeled off and hovered over our car, maybe 40ft away. She freaked out and made me drive away to my house a mile away, but I never felt threatened. I watched for another 10 mins with a housemate and then it ended. Amazing.

ross was brilliant, no so channel 7 at the time. they advertised this as a very tongue in cheek interview back in the day. and i also believe ross was ridiculed by other journalists at this point in time for not making more fun of the interviewee, and the fact ross took the interview seriously. this is reflected in his distain for media outlets such as 7. mainstream media isnt the 'friend' of anything or anyone on a fringe except to poke fun at. so, well done ross, but gees, seems funny channel 7 had this interview for 14 years but only now releasing it online. dont forget 7 owns this interview, not ross. now ross is making waves and moving forward with this subject, 7 wants to cash in. middle finger to 7, and mainstream media, high five to Ross.

I visited Rendlesham forest in April and followed the same trail from the east gate. Also came upon the area where the craft had landed and the field where the ufo was seen. Now, the molten bits falling off were very similar to what I had seen in sherwood Forest in the 90s. Although my description was more like flares falling off in various colours but rising back up once on the ground. Thanks for this fascinating interview, Ross and Mr. Colonel Halt

To me Colonel Charles Halt came across as an honest person who would have preferred to have retired like many others, without fuss or fanfare. Unfortunately what ever happened that night at the forest will travel with him for the rest of his life. He knows what he saw and I believe his account. The whole incident is a great mystery..
15 years ago I suspect Ross may have been a bit more of a skeptic and it shows on the interview. That said the resulting interview (dare I say interrogation) was informative and direct. Well worth revisiting. 👍
Fantastic interview. For those that are not familiar, Professor Simon Holland has a CZcams channel and has done lots of work with John Burrows who was one of the US military personnel and was injured with life changing injuries. There was a lot of strange things going on in that part of the UK, with radar and EMP weaponisation. Definitely worth a look.
This interview is GOLD
It's important that eyewitness statements be documented like this. It's just important that the public has access to it. We never know if a piece of information they divulge later becomes critical to someone.

My father claims to have been abducted by an UFO. I remember him clearly coming to tell my mom about the encounter & them stressing for me to be outside while they spoke. It wasn’t until I was an adult that my mom shared the story of that day with me. My dad never wanted to come out publicly to share his encounter. But he was forever a different soul since that moment.😢

My heart goes to your father, and can only imagine his frustration of not been able to get any medical, and/or psychic support to talk to someone that understand him, and his experience! Hi Ross one thing you should know about lighthouses is that they are not allowed to shine a light on land there is a metal shield to stop the light from shining on land and all lighthouses where appropriate land is adjacent on British light-houses and I think all others as well.

Pencil beams of light 23/09/2023 • 3:15am a series of events began starting with a unreported power cut to a section of town ,4:05am pencil beams of light (like lasers) but not hitting ground after seeing tiles of the picture collapsing and vanishing along the horizontal above the ground.
Electric redish glow 19/09/2021 • 11:22pm • Gisborne NZ. slipping through the night air (white in the center though not black) but I know why it would've been black and that's because they were closer. To me it looked about the size of a quad bike. The capabilities it has are mind blowing.

When I was in middle school I woke up to pee and saw my open white door glowing blue. I thought it was strange and got out of bed and looked down the hall way and saw a blue orb that seemed to be about the size of a basketball hovering in the center of the family room and it lit the entire downstairs up blue. I got scared and went back in my room and shut the door. I waited about ten minutes and I re opened the door because I still needed to pee and it was just pitch black/ dark in the house. That was about 25 years ago and it was the first and last time I have ever seen anything like that.
Decades ago, I saw ball lighting in a thunderstorm. The circle moved slowly, when viewed from a distance, but only for about five seconds. A more grounded yet related phenomenon in your house?
@@petersinclair3997 Yeah, i have heard of ball lightning. This was completely silent and stationary. It was also in my house which i would think any form of lighting would cause some kind of burns. Not sure how it could get through the roof or walls with out burning something.
A couple years ago I woke up at around 4 am to a pearlescent glowing white orb hovering above my face which then moved over my chest in a surprised manner for a few seconds before flying through the wall in front of me and disappearing, it illuminated the walls and was about the size of a basketball. I've never seen anything like this before or after this happened.

When a pilot flies the airplane in an up and down wave pattern, it's called 'Porpoising'.
I have seen two bright orbs porpoising above the trees just south of Chadwick End, Warwickshire. The cycle club secretary at the bike race saw them too. He was the one who exclaimed "UFOs".

Just to correct something in your introduction, Ross, Georgina Bruni's question to Maggie Thatcher was not specifically related to the Rendlesham Forest incident, it was regarding UFOs in general. Georgina asked Maggie if she would offer an opinion on UFOs and alien technology. Maggie's reply was "you must get your facts right". Determined to pursue the questioning, Georgina persisted. Lady Thatcher allegedly responded, "You must have the facts and you can't tell the people".
Also worth mentioning is the fact that retired police detective Gary Heseltine has recently written an extremely detailed investigation into RFI entitled "Non Human". It's well worth reading, and it includes interviews with witnesses who haven't previously come forward. Apart from Georgina's book and Larry Warren's "Left at East Gate" it is the most authoritative account of RFI to date.
Finally, we are still awaiting the release of the "Capel Green" documentary. I have it on very good authority that it will finally be released in the summer of 2024, but we shall see.
Further to my previous comment (above), I noticed that Colonel Halt was somewhat "dismissive" (to say the least) of Larry Warren's account. However, in chapter 12 of Gary Heseltine's book "Non-Human", Heseltine references a verbal admission by Colonel Halt to US researcher Ray Boeche in 1984. Boeche wrote down Halt's responses to his questions verbatim! Boeche stated that his research had revealed that there had been an incident in the field (Capel Green) involving mist on the ground, a cordon of security police officers surrounding it, and a landed craft, This was all, allegedly, filmed. Base Commander Colonel Gordon Williams was present and had also been involved in a silent "face off" with floating entities. Halt's reply, which Boeche Wrote down verbatim, was "I can verify all of that for the Senator (Exon)".
Heseltine also cites an incident In 1985, when respected journalist Lee Spiegal was with a film crew interviewing Colonel Halt. When asked if the Base Commander had been involved in the UFO activity in the forest and if beings had been seen. Halt, apparently, asked the film crew to leave the room. after they had gone, Halt confirmed to Spiegel privately that Colonel Williams had been involved and that "beings" had been observed.

Col. Halt is an excellent witness. Just the facts, no unnecessary speculation, consciously knows he doesn't know what it was and won't be pressed into idle speculation. A disciplined and well-ordered mind at work.
An incredibly frustrating case in my humble opinion. Fascinating but it has caused me to drop it so many times and yet return to it. Visited the place twice and also Ordfordness which was a research site. I just don't know anymore about Rendlesham. I spent too much time on this case.
The best way I can describe Rendlesham is divided in two camps : First camp Jim Penniston and his impression of a landed physical craft on night one (giving the landing marks). Second camp John Burroughs. John has teamed forces in more recent years with Simon Holland and others and is of the belief that what was witnessed was an EMP experiment being conducted from Ordfordness .
I had the pleasure of meeting Colonel Halt some years ago in the U.K.. A most impressive chap.

Awesome, Ross. This is the best interview I've seen with this witness. This is one of my favorite cases. All of the attempts to debunk or downplay this one fell way short, in my opinion.
Excellent interview in Ross Coulthart style. Nice to see that he was already interested in the topic in 2009. How nice it would be if we could finally see and hear the complete interview with David Grusch that he conducted over several hours.
Tip: The Forest was way less densely packed back then, nothing like what satellite etc maps show now.
Some areas completely cleared (eg next to the AFB entrance from where the security guards reportedly first saw a glow/fire in the distance. Also quite a few bald patches here and there.
If you go there today, it is (conversely) way thicker, and branches start lower to the ground (I have heard one of the relevant guards confirm).
These points are important for visualising and interpreting / understanding the statements of the various witnesses.
I wasn't there (unfortunately!), but have met and spoken with a few of the key witnesses, other base personnel, and investigators of the time.
Maybe they let the forest grow very thick to impede access to the relevant areas?

MANNNN! Really "think" about it for a moment... how lucky all those men were to have been there to have actually witnessed that craft... that surreal scene! I imagine that would give one a natural high equaled only by a really, good session with a talented tarot card reader! Why I say that is because I did have my cards read and it took me 30 years to realize what actually happened to me that night. To note: I also saw "something" on the way home from work one winter evening... and I still have no idea what that was, either, as the good colonel here. I stopped my car on that 26 mile stretch of two-lane blacktop, totally alone, and with the silence all around me just stared at whatever "they" were until they basically "floated" off to my left, about 1-2,000 feet above me... away to nothing. This phenomena, imo, is as real as you and me. They are physical, they are spiritual, supernatural. This world and Universe is way more bizarre, surreal and truly beautiful than we could ever imagine. 😊🥰👽

It wasnt the lighthouse! The lighthouse had a metal cover in back of it! So the light only shined toward the water! So boats and ships could see it! It didnt shine toward the forest! The millitary base had planes flying in and out all the time! So the lighthouse light wasnt aloud to shine toward the base, because of planes! People that say its the lighthouse they saw! Are lying! And dont know how a millitary bases work! Remember it was 3days of u.f.o.s seen by over 100 millitary personal! These people were the best of the best of our millitary personal!

Thank you Col. Halt and Ross for documenting this incident at the time. Legacy cases like this need to be seriously revisited and examined. There is a huge amount of added detail on this case in the record yet to be revealed.
Rendlesham was an alien warning to the kids-with-the-matches, in the dying days of hawkish Brezhnev, that nuclear weapons would be taken offline in case of conflict.
Aliens, supernatural or light beings of the Universe are keeping tabs on the nukes, that was my thought too as it seems to happen around where they are stored 😮

Ive read every book on this case from different witnesses, its for sure fascinating and Halt is an honest credible witness. We are not alone.
This is compelling testimony from one of the highest ranking first hand witnesses to NHI craft UFO/ UAP.
There is no doubt, if you pay careful attention to Charles Halt's verbage, that he believes that the Rendalsham incident was aliens.

Declassified? Ross, so were is the video footage? Which was taken that night. 🤔 I live in Saxmundham next to Rendlesham.
COL Halt was not aware that some of the US military who witnessed this
were debriefed by the USAFOSI who had messed with the memories of these
individuals through drugs and scrambling their memories. Officers were not
subjected to this treatment. Radar personal had also picked up on this. Of
course, whatever tapes and recordings of this event were taken by higher
headquarters. It is alleged that some Nukes were messed with (those were
taken away and/or replaced.) Keep in mind this base stored Nukes and at
the time there was a fear that Russia would invade Poland. My belief is that
certain Aliens have been interested in our nuclear weapons and related
technologies.
I stand corrected! He does mention this in the interview and I suspect
COL Halt was not aware of the treatment of these airmen at the time.
