Sent you a small donation over Rick. What a great cause. It was us - my step daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour when she was 8 years old, we watched her go through various surgeries and god knows how many MRI scans - even a a trip to Oklahoma when she was 13 for Proton Beam Therapy.
Unfortunately when we returned she was then diagnosed with Leukemia - unrelated to her brain tumour, and during her intense treatment for that - further brain and spinal tumours we're detected - it was bleak, and the doctors and Macmillan nurses were preparing us for the worse.
Thankfully, she fought, and overcame, and last year got married - it was a special day.
I know parents that weren't so fortunate, and I've been to the funerals. 😥
It's amazing who steps up and who steps away when you find yourselves going through a tough time - we had great support from people close to us and some not so close, but even then there were gaps that could have been filled - You've picked an absolutely cause to support here. 🙏

The reason some feel that it was boring is that LIV has done a good job of selling the lie that they have all the best players. So when they show up and their best player finishes 9 shots behind, their lie is exposed, and the people that bought into it were left very disappointed.

Scotty's approach shot on 9 through the last putt on the 18th green was the most captivating display of discipline I think I've ever seen. Ludvig's effort on Sunday should also be noted. I got to watch Tiger and Vijay both make the cut. If you forget about this Master's you're doing yourself an insane disservice. Unless you're just having trouble admitting you don't like seeing Scotty play as well as he has been. Perhaps it's that Scotty hasn't broken 72 this year, but on the other hand neither have you?

There is a band from Mexico called “ The Warning”. They are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico and they are touring Europe this month. They are in Germany at the moment and they are going to be in Manchester, April 25th at the Academy 2. If you love or even like rock and roll, you are going to love these girls. So far they have been selling out so hurry and get your tickets. Sorry about the rambling on but these girls are great. Enjoy!🤘🏻

I haven't watched the masters, but listening to the podcast it seems like it's similar to the evolution of snooker on TV. 20 Years ago and more, there was a lot more "drama" and suspense in a frame, because clearing the table was less common. Now it's like: break off, leave a long red, opponent clears the table, next frame. Maybe the players have become so good, it gets boring to watch (because you get used to seeing perfection)?

I really enjoyed the Masters this year. I liked the narrative with Scottie dominating golf, PGA vs LIV, Scotties wife being pregnant, Tiger Woods playing well at the start, Verne Lundquist last broadcast, Max Homa and Tommy drawing attention. And the Masters app (IBM) killed it. It was very interactive and user friendly. The camera shots were absolutely stunning. The weather really played a factor with the wind… so watching the athletes being creative was really cool. Oh, and wondering how the heck Bryson De was going to compete with his 3D printed irons. I really enjoyed it.

Hello Guy and Rick. Loved the latest Golfbidder Challenge and it sent me back thorough the archives to revisit this great content through the ages. In the 2017 both Rick and Peter (allegedly) came in at exactly 500 pounds for their selections. I think this should become a requirement in future challenges. You must spend exactly 500, and every pound over or under represents a mulligan your opponent receives in the match.

I know that the wind made the two middle rounds really tough this year, but Scottie played a great tourney. He might not be the most exciting player, but to be honest not many of the guys are. I wish Augusta would use some of the other tees through the week. They use the back tees all the time, imagine 13 and 15 back to the "normal" length for Sunday and maybe Friday. The 11th hole is another one that could use a more forward tee, not the members tee, but maybe one of the other tees they have used over the years.

Commentary needs to improve on Sky's coverage. Bryson comes across as a v decent guy on his CZcams, yet got ridiculed by the commentary team all weekend for his one-length shafts, putting style etc. On the odd occasion they're not reminiscing on how golf was 40 years ago, they're moaning about big hitters and what players are wearing. Like listening to dinosaurs, needs a fresh approach with more positivity

My take on your Tiger rant. 1)The fact that he’s not drawing the massive crowds, like he used to, is a good thing. This means that golf can move forward without him. Let’s be honest, for a while it was looking like Tour golf would lose a TON of interest if he would no longer play. 2) He finished dead last, but he actually finished all 4 rounds. That is a positive,if you’re a Tiger fan, because he hasn’t even been doing that lately. 3) I also think he could win again. Obviously it hugely depends on his health.( not his game; it’s still good enough) This is why my second point is a positive. It shows improvement on his stamina. If( big if) he can continue to improve in that direction, he will win again.
