I think if you're going to encourage people to play Legends, you have to talk about the meta of mid-late game (in reality it does not take that long to hit mid-game, and once you hit end game, it becomes a bulk of your play time). You're going to run into issues if you main a NL or BM first, and the game really is multi-client story (meaning the game favors making a ton of mules to self-buff whenever possible, HS, HB, SI/SE, etc). You could make the argument that "oh you only need to do that if you want to"... but ask how many people don't use buff mules, mage mules, etc lol. It's just a rough difference in playstyles; a ton of old players don't want to/have the time to commit to making 3-6+ mules and grinding each one of them, as well as considering HP washing. Yes, there's the challenges, but those take just as ungodly amounts of time. If you main bishop first, as you mentioned in the video, you'll end up likely selling leech early on to both level yourself and to grind, if this is a route you choose (even worse on a mage), you'll prob want HB, SI as a luxury (but is a lot more competitive for selling). If you main NL first, you're going to hit a brick wall without reliable SE. ofc not every class is like this, but the deeper you sink into this game, the more you'll realize how optimal this is It's something that all players will eventually run to and it's a commonly complained about/talked about facet of the game for a reason: as nice as the nostalgia is, this aspect of the game definitely isn't for everyone. edit: Also; ML launched in 2015. @@Bubbleman meaning?
OP is noting that you can "Pay to win" in Royals simply due to RMT, this is NOT a Royals only problem, and as someone that has played on BOTH servers, and multiple others, I can testify (as with alot of other players) that RMT is also a thing in Legends.
It's an unfair statement to say that you can pay to win on Royals simply as RMT is prevalent, it is STILL strictly forbidden, and I think the notion that "Royals does not hold this rule as strictly" is blatantly false, Royals has nearly 1.6-1.7x more players than Legends, it's simply HARDER to keep track of RMT with more players.
RMT is PRESENT in Legends, if anything, the slower pacing makes it even MORE prevalent than anything. RMT will always be a big thing in OS-MS due to LEECHING being the primary source of XP and the gateway to endgame.
BOTH SERVERS forbid RMT,, and there are often ban waves being made almost monthly on both servers, and pretty much any maplestory server, or MMO in general.
I enjoy both servers, but let's not create false pretenses just to create server bias.
Royals is good for people who want to enjoy PRE-BB with a much larger community and those who are interested in min-maxing their characters
Legends is good for people who want a more laid back approach to leveling, and enjoy doing PQ's and quests for XP. The slower pace makes it much easier to find a static group to play with.
my boy sae should make his own mapleroyals guide he got a lot to say
@@misair0 Maybe instead of focusing so much about "royals" you read this message a 3rd time where I explicitly say that both servers are good and it's up to preference. Are you so pathetic that you have to resort to tribalism and just be aggressive towards anyone saying anything remotely negative about Legends?
How much they paying you to suck this much d*ck brutha?
BOYS DON'T GET TRAPPED! use this as a guide for MapleRoyals, the BETTER private server :)))
😂 Appreciate you at least vouching for the guide material
if thats the kind of answer someone that plays the Royals server will deliver then im not sure if it is indeed the better server here. but judging the server from a single player isnt fair either i guess
yo imma make a sin
Aight bet
Play beginner or nothing
@2:20 saddens me seeing all these maplelegends and royals videos popping up in my feed how to do leech at skeles or gupis - good memories but leaching is so LAME!
Once i can get my virus protection software to accept maplelegends im going to just make 1 class and yolo it F bishop 😂
Yea you dont need bishop to play the game! Everything and anything is enjoyable. Cant wait for you to come join in on the fun 😊
Just don't leech, I haven't leeched in over 2 months of playing and yeah, my characters are low level (34 xbowman and 26 thief) but it's fun to just vote twice on the site, log on, grind some mobs on a map for an hour and then log off knowing you at least got 10-20% xp and are having fun and making progress.
Never been into having others play my game for me, powerlevelling, leeching, and multiboxing just ruins the game.
Are maple legends mods extremely politically correct like royals mods? or do they realize there's a block button for a reason
Not extremely, as long as you dont harass directly you’ll be fine
SCANIAMS FTW LEGENDS SUCKS
that server is dying
I would love to play this but I'm scared Nexon will close it one day and RiP all my progress
It’s been up since 2017 so hopefully we get another 7 years 😇
Better than playing current GMS lmao
its up since 2015 actually. and so what? didnt you lose all your progress on original one? it already was some pay to win shit full of hackers back then now its just a tiktoker game that you dont want to play
i see this alot with people who have no real reason not to play private servers.
enjoy it while it lasts.
old school maple didn't even last 9 years.
I understand but you’re fine really. I play royals and it’s been around over 10 years! It isn’t going anywhere tbh, and even if it does you still got to enjoy the game :)
