Different US States have different laws regarding license plates. States like Florida only require one license plate and they're usually placed on the back of the car whereas state like New York require two, one front and one back.
Milton Keynes was actually built using the same grid system as New York (which I’m sure would of been used across the US)

Sorry that Miami isn’t very walkable,that’s common is most American city’s since they’re poorly designed and rushed.City’s like DC(The Capital)NYC and Chicago are pretty enjoyable to walk at and have decent transportation systems
