Unless the rules have changed the F-1X-12 isn't legal for X275 only in pro 275.

Eighth mile is cheaper and easier on parts than a full quarter mile, they do run the quarter mile occasionally though and run somewhere in the mid 6s. Sorry you had to wait 3 years for a response. Lol.
They stopped running a blower cause x275 said they were too dominant over their favorite turbos
Hey turbos are for 1/4 mile blower is for 1/8mile

Because they can. Not being a smart ass, Nick and Rich always go fast with whatever combination they choose. So fast, in fact, that most of the time, their cars get hit with weight penalties, basically for being too fast. I think that might be what happened with the blower combo they ran last year.

That may be true but thier is a reason 85%ford race cars have gm motors in them ,and I give ford credit a ton of hidden horse power if you know what to do I've had them built a few but can't beat beat chevy power durability dependability cost hands down
Fords are just durable as gm's. And most of the time make more power. Look at mike murillo's big block Ford. He just outran bbc's and a couple of the fastest 481x engines in the no prep. And did it with trickflow A460 cylinder heads. No custom billet shit on his car. Just good ol fashion BIG BLOCK FORD POWER BUDDY.

@@jamesward6223 GM's stuff is so good that NASCAR had to let them run the SB2 against the OEM Cleveland Ford for 6 years to even things out. First time manufacturer in "Stock car" racing was allowed to use a non-OEM style engine in competiton. It wasn't because the gen1 SBC was better than a Ford small block.
