  • here's another version of the 4g antenna like kerosan's
i have isolated the 1st disk from the central rod to see if it improves upload speeds.
the speed didn't improve drastically until the antenna was mounted up much higher. more videos to come on this

Correct lmr400 , it's not flexible but u can buy the ultra flex cable too with insignificant losses , keep your runs under 15m using any cable , remember the higher in frequency u go up the losses are higher too , always use 50 ohm connectors and when soldering use as little of a blob as possible or file off the excess james otherwise u get RF

Also James for 2100mhz I find 12mm from the edge of driven element ie second disk to be best , 90 degrees out . U can rotate antenna when taking measurements . Use huactrl pro and select your desired band and lock in on that , otherwise u could connect to band 20 or band 28 that's 700/800mhz not knowingly and think your antennas failing when infact your locked into the wrong mast frequency .

Use a dremmel and sand paper and gently round your disks and file off any jagged edges , try get a huawei b818 best 4g router at a decent price on tye market , of course u can buy a huawei cpe pro2 5g router and modify it for 4x4 mimo
