@@pada443 I dislike it because it was a shell of the other seasons. It was like someone else doing a Community impression. It has nothing to do with whether Harmon was still there or not.
It was entertaining but off character for many. As a standalone, it would've been nice, but as a part of the Community lore, it just doesn't stand. It's like the Always Sunny Backstory episode in those regards
Now that you mention it, no they didn't. They had that episode where they tried to made a film together, and I suppose the two just had creative differences.
This was filmed at the end of season 4 since it was the most complicated production. Chevy Chase was gone by that point so they were only able to have him record voice over for this episode.
It really does. I mean, you can like it all you want, that's fine but the fact is that it wasn't a very good season, especially compared to the others, for a large number of reasons.
Season 4 was great season of TV. However, it was a mediocre season of Community. That's not to say it didn't have great parts to it, just that we expected more because of the quality of the show before and after it.
I know this episode/season gets some criticism becauwe of the new writers. But I hope the artists know the fans think the puppets themselves were incredible and the likeness was delightful. Even the hard core critics love the passion and effort put in and consider it a highlight of the episode
My husband is a big fan of Community and I just watched them for the first time with him. We got to this episode, and maybe 5 min in, I said, "This is not good." And I went into every episode wanting to love it. I gotta say, seeing Yvette's joy here is totally contagious.
I figured that he didn't want to insult Danny Pudi or embarrass himself by verbally stealing Pudi's identity for a 'making-of' short. I'm quite certain he realizes that there should be three cools.
Seeing how much work went into this episode makes me sad for these people, because personally it didn't make make me feel anything at all. The whole story just seemed unmotivated and out of place.
It's a lot more difficult to hate season 4 when you see the work that went into it.
a lot of slave kids made Iphones, doesnt mean we have to buy them
@@nick.king4 wow so deep...
People just dislike it because they know Dan Harmon wasn't involved. If they just watched the show they wouldn't even notice a difference.
I never hated season 4. It's just a bit different
@@pada443 I dislike it because it was a shell of the other seasons. It was like someone else doing a Community impression. It has nothing to do with whether Harmon was still there or not.
Abed's puppeteer sounded so much like Danny's Abed that I rewatched his interaction with Puppet Shirley just to make sure it wasn't Danny!
I love how into the puppets Yvette is. Like she totally loves those puppets and it's great.
That's nice
@@DaniloFMartins i was thinking that exact same thing lol
Woah the guy acting as Abed has the voice DOWN damn
Yeah, its pretty cool. Cool cool cool.
Anytime i look away from the screen he sounds like Chang talking
He works on the Muppets, I forget which character.
When puppet Abed's eyes moved at 2:58 it made me laugh and scared at the same time.
The Abed impression killed me.
5:33 & 9:41 what a surprisingly close impression of Abed
12:24 is anyone gonna talk bout that, Shirley and Abed’s puppets just making out
how is it that I only just realised that the balloon guide is Sara Bareilles - who sang the 'Gravity' song that featured in the memories episode
I recognized her right away
I screamed a little bit
I don't care what other people say, I love the puppet episode. It was great.
me too! I thought it was pretty good
It was entertaining but off character for many. As a standalone, it would've been nice, but as a part of the Community lore, it just doesn't stand. It's like the Always Sunny Backstory episode in those regards
I do enjoy elements of it, But I definitely think it was not as strong as the other episodes of community
@@exposedbhauturma130 you summed it up perfectly
9:41 My favorite interaction between Abed and Shirley. They really didn't talk much during the show, did they?
Now that you mention it, no they didn't.
They had that episode where they tried to made a film together, and I suppose the two just had creative differences.
And the end of the Nick Cage episode.
He just actively helped birth her 3rd child
that one episode where abed makes some meta weird religious movie and she’s pissed about it
Everyone's puppet sounded like the actor accept Shirley
this is one of the episodes I actually enjoyed from the gas leak year
Notice how Chevy wasn't involved much by this point in the show.
He left prior to them filming this episode- though he recorded some dialogue for the episodes that he’s not in.
I did notice
This was filmed at the end of season 4 since it was the most complicated production. Chevy Chase was gone by that point so they were only able to have him record voice over for this episode.
its always so weird watching danny talking normal it always caught me off guard seeing he's not like abed irl😭
Unpopular opinion: I don’t dislike Season 4 that much.
Me neither!! It's a shame when people say it's the worst when s6 exists
It's the worst one, but come on, it's still pretty good. The puppet episode was really great
Season 4 almost seems like a parody of itself. But it’s not terrible. Just doesn’t feel like “community”
@@nathaliavergara7934 s6 is amazing
@@ajako19 I agree
these puppetiers were amazing !!!
It’s weird binging the series and then seeing the actors out of character
Ended up here after seeing the episode...didn't plan to watch the whole video...but here I am, 15 mins in.
Season 4 doesn't deserve all the hate. It was a very good season
I think it was terrible but I'm glad to see they enjoyed making it and I'm glad others enjoyed watching it.
It really does. I mean, you can like it all you want, that's fine but the fact is that it wasn't a very good season, especially compared to the others, for a large number of reasons.
@@Redstar2613sorry but season 6 was MUCH worse than season 4

How does nobody talk about how the Troy puppet looks almost just like Cousin Skeeter!
I was thinking that too
I know this episode/season gets some criticism becauwe of the new writers. But I hope the artists know the fans think the puppets themselves were incredible and the likeness was delightful. Even the hard core critics love the passion and effort put in and consider it a highlight of the episode
I LOVE SARA BAREILLES SO MUCH
Yvette looks so gorgeous in that opening part
people don’t like this episode, but i think it’s really clever and perfectly encapsulates community
The writing is just not very good. I wish this episode existed in one of the earlier seasons where the writing was better
Not THAT clever IMHO, but I think it's charming. And I love that song. :D
Yvette's attitude on point 5:59
I loved this episode, the video game one, the claymation stop motion one and the one with anime
Love that they got Sara for this cuz she’s actually a great comedian too
SARA NEEDS TO BE IN THE MOVIE
Loves this episode! Thanks!
Jason Alexander has so much hair!!!
12:43 CHANG, CHANG, CHANG, CHANG
One of the best episodes of Community
Along with the video game episode

Sims 2 music at the end classiccccc
Danny is married? How did I not know this before?

I don't care about the cost.. I want to buy those puppets! Gimme! I want them all..

Omg yesss
Abed's puppet looks like Everyone loves Raymond
5:06 me when I look in the mirror
😂😂😂😂
im curious but is that the cast singing? i didn't see any footage of them in sound booths.
I love this episode
Ima do shrooms and watch this ep again to see if this newfound bts info does anything
what song was that playing around 6:35?
Me: *watches this episode*
My pupaphobia: oh hello there
its not "cool cool", its "cool cool cool"
Ibrahim Ozdemir I think the amount of "cools" are based on how Abed is feeling
cool
no. it's "cool. cool, cool, cool"
or a single "cool"
no in-between.
I figured that he didn't want to insult Danny Pudi or embarrass himself by verbally stealing Pudi's identity for a 'making-of' short. I'm quite certain he realizes that there should be three cools.
it was his job to "steal" the identity of abed.
he was supposed to play abed.
and there should be 4 cools.
same danny I'm a joke too lmao
I had no idea that the forester was Jason Alexander.
his name is GEORGE
I thought that was Art Vandelay.@@seededsoul
I love puppets
Oh my god Sara bareilles singer of the song gravity ie the pierce and abed sexual tension song
Woww the effort..❤❤❤
Huh, and I always thought this was an avenue Q homage.
is that the music from the Tesco ads?!
Joel is astonishingly beautiful ❤
this so cool.

Gas leak year lol. Definitely different vibes in this BTS

Jeff's puppet is hideous 😂
In my opinion this is the best episode of Season 4. And season 4 was a meh season.
And who knew this would turn out to be the worst episode of the series
Sorry, you’re way out-voted.
Objectively worst episode. Jason Alexander and the throwaway line about Duncan were rhe only good part
Horrible episode
This is episode is easily one of the worst of a bad season unfortunately
Connor Travers wrong
Yep. Its kinda sad cause it looks like they putted so much effort to it
You're crazy this episode was great
Well it was a gas leak year
Production values were great, story sucked.
worst episode ever
The story sucked.
Other than one of the songs, this is a terrible episode.
This episode was soooo lame...
Let’s all cancel the white woman who played Shirley cause Netflix is anti-racism
Where's Chevy?
Hey Danny, why the big face?
