  • A friend of mine needed a patio table set, so Bob Barker and I decided to make it. This is an easy to make, but still nice looking project. This is the benches to go along with the table we recently made. We used only 2x6 cedar deck boards for the entire build.

    I got the Beadlock jig and the tenon stock from Rockler.com. For this project, I used the 1/2" attachment and drill bit.

    I enjoy hearing everything. Those that don't like it are able to hit mute. If it's not there, those of us that like it can't magically add it.

    Nice strong quality build. You do the voiceover the same as I do, which is what I’ve heard is the most helpful. Keep up the good work. 👍

    Very nice table and benches. I like this style of presentation and the fact you are not making it an infomercial.

    As someone just starting out, I appreciate hearing the thought process behind things. I am curious, what makes a screw 'outdoor rated'? Looks like they're blue, so I assume they're sealed against rust somehow?

      @woodpackdiy  Před 11 měsíci

      yeah, they're coated so they don't rust

    T minus until you get a domino now that you have the vac and sander 😂😂

      Funny you should mention that. I may have just went and got the kapex and the domino 😂 I’m building a large built in for the wife right now. Needed the new tools so I could do it better - at least that was my excuse to her

    Very nice build. You turned the bench upside down when sorting out the bottom of the legs, why didn't you do the same when you were putting the screws into the Pocket Holes on the Seating part? wouldn't it have been easier to do especially to not be hurting your back while doing that, when the Seating part came up i just presumed that you would do it with the bench upside down.
    Stay Safe,
    Barry (UK) 👍
