    I do something very similar I discovered HA for hair last year I make my own hair serums and my hair grows like crazy and is so soft and silky, I don’t use oil in my biphase but include a number of delicious hair loving ingredients

    I'd love it if you made some Bi-phase body lotions/serums because I no longer enjoy making them w/ emulsifiers. That would be sooooo great.

      Sadly, Health Canada would prefer I didn't :( www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/consumer-product-safety/cosmetics/notice-stakeholders-proposed-updates-cosmetic-ingredient-hotlist.html
      I can't even buy products containing azelaic acid in Canada anymore.

    thank you for the great formula.. Can you recommend an organic emulsifier in case I want to use it with this formula? Thank you

      @HumblebeeAndMe  Před 3 lety

      Please check out the Emulsifiers section of the Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/) :) You couldn't just add an emulsifier to this, though-you'd be looking at a pretty thorough re-formulation to get a lovely end product. Happy making!

    AWESOME!!! Will try it sometime.... But my formulations do not have a longer shelf life and consistency in color or state, don't know what to do cos I end up discarding products after products and that's waste of money and makes me scared of gifting family and friends my products... What can I do?? Heeeelllpppp!!!!....

      It's ALL about having the right preservative. I've found that Liquid Germall PLUS is dang near fool proof. It works in just about anything if you use it right! But there are LOTS of alternatives, you should check out Marie's encyclopedia on preservatives. She also has an article about them!

    • @apugoamy5038

    Hi Marie!
    I just made this and am noticing some brown particles floating around at the top. I'm assuming this is the bits of protein that I've used. It looks quite unsightly, like dirt. Is there a solution to this?
    Also, is the final product supposed to look a bit cloudy?

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  Před 3 lety +3

      That's all totally normal, and why I recommend a "a frosted, tinted, or opaque bottle rather than a clear one" :) It's not a "looker" of a serum lol.

    • @shaktisoul93
      @shaktisoul93 Před 3 lety

      @@HumblebeeAndMe Haha that's for sure. Another question if I may, the HA seems to settle down at the bottom (sticking to the bottle). Is this normal as well? Also, could I add glycerine to this? Sorry for all the questions 😅

    Could i use mica colors with this oil and with face serum hyaluronic acid?just to give different color

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  Před 2 lety

      I don't recommend it; they'll settle out as this is a fairly thin formulation. A water soluble dye would be a better option :) Happy making!

    There's a 1 missing at the measurement for the HA, it's not a big deal because the %are there. But maybe you still want to change it.
    The formula sounds lovely, kind of sad that I have a hard time getting polyquaternium.

    It's not necessary for a formula to add up to 100%? Ohhhhhhhh, never mind, Marie, the distilled water is missing from the CZcams formula.
