Wow, I didn't think the thumbnail was realistic. They practically flew that Satrun over that truck. And it still drove. Amazing.

Being a Saturn and it's no surprise that it survived a couple of jumps they're no Toyota's but they're pretty stout
I have a 2000 SL 5speed. I drag this thing all over the country. Best damn car I've ever had. Burns oil but most Saturn's do. Great cars, easy to work on, good gas mileage and they keep going.

The very small Saturn SSeries are extremely tough cars. I've had 2. If American small cars were all as tough as they were Toyota,Nissan and Honda wouldn't be much.
I'm amazed that Saturn was able to keep going after 2 jumps. Those little cars are pretty indestructible
Not to mention it can pull a GMC Jimmy on dirt they're pretty tough little cars they last for a while if you're beating on them and they'll last forever if you take care of them it's that kind of car where either you're deliberately trying to destroy it or not it will last either way

Gm always owned them. They ran independently and made everything in house up to 2002. They switched to re-buddies FM cars after that. Some opels too.
From 1990-2002 they never updated them underneath. They got new bodies and interiors. They were always noted for dependability and low cost of ownership. The 1.9 was specifically made and developed just for the small SSeries cars. Aside of burning oil they were very dependable. They stopped being unique and started sharing other GM parts when they stopped making the old s SSeries and made the Ion,( Chevy Cobalt, Pontiac G5) in 2003.

@@juliet4093 I agree! Maybe these cars need an expensive repair to pass inspection so they were scrapped. I couldn't see why else people would throw away cars that still run. It's a shame they aren't given to others, but if they can't be repaired, I guess at least they'll be recycled/scrapped.

The blazer impact was unbeatable. You should leave a rock on the gas pedal, and pull the shifter with a string to throw it into gear. Then make sure you let go of the string😂😂🚗💨

Those Blazers were known for having weak A-pillars. The doors being on would have helped considerably, but the A-pillars would have still been damaged.

whattheheck1000 the a pillar look pretty solid as the windshield was mostly undamaged. It's the space between the a pillars and b pillars that folded.
