People criticizing her don't really understand what it takes to do this type of thing. I think what people fail to realize is that she's a performer. She's in movies and commercials. Her main focus isn't applying her martial arts to self defense. That being said, this kind of leg strength and flexibility is extremely difficult. I'm not quite on her level but I work every day to be able to do some of this stuff. While I'm pretty damn good, it's a lot of work. If you're going to criticize this, please know something about it! Because people who do know about this, will not be making fun of Chloe Bruce!

Many kumite/full contact champions do exactly that after they decide to stop competition - polish their katas. You can't have perfect katas in the beginning, get old then start competition. Chloé Bruce has had over 20 years of training and this is a demo, she is doing freestyle patterns and I think she did amazing job and is one hell of a martial artist.
All Martial Artists deserve respect for the hard work and dedication that it takes to reach competitive levels. This young lady has obviously dedicated her entire life to MA training, but the truth of the matter is, not TKD nor any other Martial Art will pay the bills unless you own a dojo. It seems that somewhere along the way she did change her focus from competitive, traditional TKD to Extreme MA and professional exhibitions. Extreme MA is exciting to watch, and the many EMA athletes I have met have much more of a background than just EMA. Maybe its better that we all just either follow her and enjoy her unbelievably agile and flexible talents, or we change the channel, right? Hating makes no sense at all.
I'm not sufficiently qualified to say what portion of the movements this young woman uses have real-world defensive applications, but for sheer talent in a display that is both artistic and athletic - what a performance! She did a terrific job.

i was asked recently how would chloe fair against a top mma prospect and i said what chloe dose with her body is amazing but her practice is different than that of a mma fighter she wouldn't fair to well i don't think but still what a amazing athlete she is
there is no way for a performance type athlete could win against an all-out fight type. there is significant difference in the way they do the techniques to make it either aestatically pleasing or lethal deadly. but still, she will still be able to easily beat the shit out of normal people.

there is no way for a performance type athlete could win against an all-out fight type. there is significant difference in the way they do the techniques to make it either aestatically pleasing or lethal deadly. but still, she will still be able to easily beat the shit out of normal people.
