I am in the US and have been very very impatiently waiting to get my hands on some of these gorgeous plants but wasn’t able to be online right when the website opened so I was worried I wouldn’t be able to grab any. Well, just got my grubby little hands on the most gorgeous specimen of my dream plant, Sp Columbia, and I am SO SO SO out of my mind excited. Thank you for another great video and congratulations to Lauren and NSE Tropicals!

Omg I'm so excited!! I'm from Seattle, WA and I went early April but she wasn't shipping to USA yet, and I'm scared to cross through the border with aroids. Maybe I can stop by again pick out my plants, and have her ship them back home to me? Bc she did tell me it takes about 10 days to get the phytocertificate to cross the border with the tropical plants.
Hi Colleen! I feel ya on crossing the border with plants. I do it a lot and I know all the rules, but every single time my butt is clenched getting through 😆 I would definitely shoot her an email and inquire about shopping in store and having her ship! ♥️
Time released fertilizer is great unless your plants are exposed to temperatures near one hundred degrees Fahrenheit for a few hours. At extreme temperature the capsules will empty out all at once.

Wow everything is amazing in the store. Wow the leaves are massive how do they grow so big? The Hoya’s are amazing too. I really love the Hoya Deykeae and the Lai Chang Forrest aswell. Pity it doesn’t ship around Europe. I find there isn’t much online plants that ships to Europe especially rare plants.
Neat store..I don't think there are any plant store that sells exotic tropicals in greater Vancouver..mostly are just run if the mill plants and once in a blue moon, they might get a few rare plantsr. Will definitely check it out.

@@unplantparenthood it’s raining for two days in New York City Saturday today it’s raining I took a visit at the North shore tropical website and I love everything I’m just skeptical because I lost so many plants this winter due to the fact I could not keep up with the humidity my light bill is like $3,00 how do u do it?
I love love anthuriums but I cannot grow them for the life of me. They are either thriving or they are dying because of “spider mites” 😭 I don’t know how anyone does it with any anthuriums. “I am ready to give up on them😔”
I’m definitely still trying to understand them myself! I feel like people find them really easy or really difficult. Just remind yourself that we’re growing them in very unnatural conditions and sometimes it takes awhile to get the environment just right for them. Don’t give up!

Ive used osmocote in my outside flowerbeds. It makes my gardenia bloom like crazy.

the philodendron maoyi is normally a crawler so i doubt if it would benefit from a pole
P. mayoi’s are actually climbers! They typically climb along the sides of tree trunks in the wild :)
