  • This week, we’re exploring the Pacamara varietal as we prepare for the upcoming Nordic Roaster Forum 2018 taking place in Oslo, Norway on the 20th to the 22nd of September.
The famed Pacas/Maragogype hybrid Pacamara was developed by the El Salvadorian institute of coffee research, an incredibly important development considering the historic outbreaks of coffee leaf rust in El Salvadors recent past. A very large sized bean, It can now be more frequently found in other Central American producing countries and is capable of displaying a wide variety of cup profiles. We're really excited to learn more about this particular varietal, and this weeks video provides an insight into our thoughts so far.
