Hi everyone, I have just published a video comparing Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard with these Logitech keyboards. czcams.com/video/F1aE55dTKPY/video.html It's a nice and slim keyboard that does not compromise on the key sizes, thinner than Logitech K380.

you can use win+L for lock screen and win+shift+S for the build in screenshot tool which is better as you can select specific regions. And also you can draw on it right away by clicking the notification popup when you take a screenshot, or opening it in action center.

It’s a very concise and yet thorough review that is spoken from the perspective of an everyday user who is not a professional reviewer with an agenda to sell or indorse an affiliate link/product. It comes off as genuine and helpful. I also really appreciate your “content first, channel promotion later” method of delivery. I also thought seriously about getting the K380 but in the end went with the K780 because of the phone stand feature. The only negative to me is that it is larger and heavier, so for my travel I bring a very lightweight keyboard from Arteck.

Hey woofinu, glad to know you have the same preference as me going for the K780. Yes it's quite a long keyboard that occupies a lot of desk space. on your desk, i recommend the k780, espcially if you're using logitech flow for multiple devices. the unifying receiver switches over the mouse and keyboard to a different PC without skipping a beat. it would truly feel like the two computers are one. Bluetooth sometimes has a few second delay and sometimes the keys don't respond well for up to half a minute. the best approach for dual PC setup is to use two flow enable devices on two unifying receivers.

I have k380 and i like it as it reduces arm travel for operating mouse. And for shortcuts why don’t you use windows+l for lock and windows+ctrl+s for snipping tool. Also you missed the screen capture option at tab key on the k380. And if you use logitech options you can program four of top row keys adjacent to three pairing keys.

I switch between my (windows) office setup (as in a physical office building) where they don’t let you install drivers etc and with my iPhone and iPad. They all change seamlessly with no lag whatsoever. The dongle that comes with it allows me to use it at work. Bluetooth connection sorts the Apple set up. It’s the best keyboard I’ve used and I take it to each new job. I support the set up with the Logitech triathlon mouse, so I can switch between screens. That wasn’t part of your question, but it’s a very good workflow and I couldn’t be without it.

Hi yannie yann, yes I do agree. This video is just my opinion, and yes everyone has their preference. Maybe my expectation is too high. I feel technology nowadays should just work, products that require us to find a workaround means they have areas to improve. Like Elon said "all user input is error". The k380, like most Logitech keyboards, is a great keyboard. I am using it in my office with the TP Link dongle. I am just not as fast as when I am at home using my K780. Have you used any dongle that works better? Glad you are finding the K380 so useful. Thanks for your comment.

I would like to see test K380 vs new K380s, but also compare it with K780, is it now improved. I notice that new K380s keys are little bigger or the is more space between them, so maybe now it's regular size.

Hi Donavan, the Nulaxy Keyboard is a really good on-the-go keyboard. I like it because it's small compact and minimalist. It function well as a keyboard, and I am typing on it to reply to your comment now at a Cafe. Connects well if you give it only one single dedicated device, not multi devices. Battery last very very long, I can't remember when was the last time I charged this thing. I won't use too much function keys and short cut commands on this keyboard though because it's too fiddly, general typing... it's great. Hi Vivian, all my keyboards, at home, at office, and on the go, are all wireless keyboards. When you study at uni, you want a keyboard that just works for you, so go with a reliable brand like Logitech. Logitech spend a lot on their testing to make sure their keyboard works well on different platform / devices. Keyboards like Nulaxy (the one I showed at end of video) can be quite fiddly because it's a generic bluetooth keyboard. It's ultra portable, that's why I don't mind a bit of set up inconvenience.

It looks pretty ordinary.
I also notice it only works with only 2 devices, Windows and MacOS. That's interesting because we usually have either Windows user group or MacOS user group, seldom a user who uses both MacOS and Windows at the same time.

I haven't used the logitech K580 before. I remembered I didn't buy that is because it only has 2 multi-device connections, and 3 is not enough for me already (PC1, PC2, tablet, phone). Dell km7120w has standard 3 device connections. The other thing obviously is that the K580 has phone and tablet holder if you don't already have holders. So these are the two main differences you have to consider for your own usage situation. The Logitech Options app and Dell Peripheral Manager apps are both quite customisable, so by and large, they are about the same.
