Such a professional video but the credit editor ruins it's value.
I am confused why have a battery in a manual lock
Two batteries......
Because it is not really a manual lock... The "user interface" makes it look manual, but it really is a digital lock body with a motor or servo controlling the deadbolt... If you look carefully, you will see that this lock does not need to do the regular "4 turns to the left, landing on the first number of the combination, then 3 turns to the right, landing on the second number, then 2 turns to the left, landing on the third number, followed by a turn to the right for the last number / stop position". As such, it would be quicker to access than a traditional dial manual lock... This is not an inexpensive lock though... Looks to be around $1000-1200 from what I could find online... Because it is electronic, it has features that you will not find in a strictly manual lock mechanism...
Too short beeps lol
Why the “beep beep beep” would you want this? Electronics fail.
It's a GSA level lock, so not exactly inexpensive... Instead of around $150-200 for a typical S&G electronic lock that you might find for use on a home gun safe, this costs around $1000-1200... It serves a need for certain customers, but most likely not for your typical single user residential or small business customer...
