Hi, Vicky! I used to be a subscriber to your knitting podcast until it stopped. I remember you made a new coat each year. Do you remember when you were destashing some of your books? I bought the Niebeling book and just enjoy paging thru it.
Congratulations on holding this fabric until fall. You will be more inspired once the weather changes. Meanwhile, enjoy finishing the pretty blue dress.

A jacket is a great idea if you like the fabric and I really think it would suit your colouring. Unfortunately it’s not my favourite but I know my daughter would suit it so looking to make a skirt for her and use the rest for a weekend bag. Your dress is going to look lovely in the Maison Fauve pattern and as yet I’ve only got as far as to wash my fabric from box 24. ❤

I think a pilar jacket in this fabric would be beautiful in this fabric & yes a Sherpa collar would be super cute 🥰

I must be the only person who didnt know that the fabric was a corduroy. I had no idea what it was when I first looked at it in my box. I've never seen corduroy with wales like that. I got the same colourway as you.
