I love your guys passion about this show and it’s “explosiveness”. One thing that I feel people are being really unfair to Simon about is how everyone is irritated with him that he keeps reading and replying to the comments. I know that it’s best to not do either but we need to remember that he is a 16 year old kid who has been thrown into the national spotlight. Now the entire country is making an opinion and judging him off of rumors, comments, and news articles that he has had zero input into and are not truthfully representing him or his situation. That is a huge thing that I don’t think anyone could deal with well, much less a 16 year old kid. And I hate that Wille just dismisses what he’s going through like “don’t read the comments”, “ this is just how it is” “it’s like you’re looking for the hate”. Simon literally did nothing wrong, he is the victim and he is the one getting all the heat for this, not Wilhelm. And even if he didn’t read the comments, people are still talking shit about him on the bus, people are still pointing at him in public, bullying him at school, and vandalizing his home, he cannot avoid or just ignore it. I’m sorry but it just infuriates me to hear people minimize his situation to just getting a few mean comments on an instagram post or a CZcams video because it’s exponentially worse than that.

I agree 99%. My only comment is that I don't think Wille doesn't understand Simon because Wille isn't getting hate as well. For all we know people are making the same mean comments towards him. He's just (sadly) used to it and he knows not to read the comments. Plus, he only has one hour of phone a day, so he couldn't even if he wanted to. 😅
The court should have had a meeting with Simon to ease him into the things expected of him now that he’s with Wille. Not threatening him, but explaining in a way a teenager can understand. It shouldn’t be on Wille’s shoulders to monitor Simon… that is causing friction between them and making Wille an “enforcer .”
This episode is good at reminding us about how young they both are.
Everyone overlooks the fact that Farima did offer to talk to Simon and Wilhelm quickly said no & that he would take care of it. I think Wilhelm is scared of losing Simon & doesn't want him to deal with anyone from the Royal court. Matt noticed it and mentioned it.
Simon rejecting Linda’s Pabellón just made me think “please, someone, eat this poor woman’s Pabellón” - because Sara indirectly rejected it in s2 as well. (I do wonder if it’s connected with how they’re kinda turning their back on one side of their culture? Like, Sara doesn’t speak Spanish in the series and she spends the series doing whatever it takes to fit in with the Hillerska crowd, and throughout s3 so far, you can see Simon erasing parts of himself to try and make Wille’s life easier and fit the crown’s ideals).
Also, the scene where Simon says “I don’t want to be anywhere anymore”, my heart *dropped.* Like, that’s some passively su1cidal stuff, and given how you can see Simon’s mental health deteriorating throughout s3 so far, I was absolutely terrified for him when I heard that.
I was so worried about Simon as well when he said that. 😢
We would have sat with her and gladly ate his portion. 😍

I totally agree that Simon is just now realizing the reality of being with Wille. His face when Wille said it has always been like this and will always be like this says it all.
39:25 yes, I saw the same distrust in Simon’s facial expression. The support he seemed to have around him seems to be slipping away. (Both Omar and Edvin are exceptional in conveying the emotions of their characters!)
I don’t think this was the first time they had intercourse. I think it’s just the first time we got to see it. I’m pretty sure they were already having sex at least when Wille came over to Simons for the first time and also in season 2 episode 5.

I think it was the first time because it takes time to completely trust each other and feel comfortable. The scene felt so intimate and full of love 💜

We don’t really know exactly, but I’m guessing it was their first time in S3. Plus there are many ways to have sex.
There's a bts clip of Edvin & Omar after they filmed their last scene in Wille's room together and they're reminiscing about all the moments Wilmon had in that room and Edvin says "the first time they had sex", meaning S1 Ep4. So they've been having sex since S1.
August isn’t evil. He made some very bad choices. But he’s had very little support and guidance since his father died from su*cide. He’s flawed and needs therapy.
Micke wasn't drinking. You can see that Sara smells his cup and searches his backpack. He legit fell asleep. How he managed to get home AND fall asleep so quickly is the real mystery here.

Discussions and conversations are all well and good, but you shouldn't forget that these are two 16 year olds. Who has deep discussions at this age? What's more, Wilhelm comes from an environment where such things hardly ever happen?
As far as Micke is concerned, I think the judgment was made too quickly. Keep in mind that he takes medication (for his back and ADHD) and many have tiredness and exhaustion as a side effect - I know this myself from my allergy medication.
I would say Simon and Wilhelm had sex at least 3 times across all seasons:
S1Ep4 we see the foreplay being filmed by August.
S1Ep5 after the aquarium scene, when Simon turns on the PC so that "the others next door don't hear us".
S2Ep5 after Simon tells Wilhelm that he still wants to report August and Wilhelm then hides in his room. Here too we only see the foreplay between the two until Wilhelm closes the curtains.
You should watch the "hallway scene" again with full focus - it's so beautiful, yet intimate and "sexy" at the same time. And with the lyrics of the song, that the spring is coming with all the flowers blooming, just as they and their relationship are blooming. Side note: they did not have intercourse in the hallway though, it's just shot back and forth between the rooms, and they have had s*x before, both in season 1 - when they were filmed and at Simons house - and in season 2, we just haven't got to see this much before.

tbh i think they were only kissing in the hallway and the shots were just jumping around, also are we sure the window was open? well who knows. this episode is kind of a rollercoaster but i think a lot of interesting things happen here and finally! they actually get a moment together haha
They were definitely only kissing in the hallway (I hate that I can practically say “I’ve studied the background of that scene” because me and my friends were looking into subtext stuff), and I’m 99.9% certain the curtains were closed. I can also say that I’m 90% certain that they switch between the beds? The first bit in Wille’s room is clearly on Wille’s bed, same with the bit where Simon’s on Wille’s lap, but I’m almost certain that the part where Simon’s behind Wille is on the other bed.
(Omg, I must sound like such a creep.. I assure you there’s a vaguely understandable reason as to why I know this.)

..so, it turns out I may have been the only person who freaked out when Sara opened the door immediately after *that* scene with WilMon because I thought she’d walked into the hallway for a moment.
I don’t agree with your opinions on the comments Simon is receiving. Like imagine an entire country (prob the world atp) commenting about you, your family, your life, threatening and insulting you. An adult wouldn’t handle that correctly, much less a 16 yo boy. Simon never “signed up” for that type of life. He simply fell in love with Wille who happens to be the prince. The royal court should’ve been the one to help him navigate the situation. I just think it’s narrow minded for people to say he should’ve deleted the comments, blocked people, ignored them, or private his account when in reality anxiety of the situation gets in the way
I thing that Royal court can't force Simon to do anything because he is still the regular citizen, he is not the offical member of the Royal family. Maybe, they could give him some advice how to navigate it, but I agree with your opinion, Simon never "signed up"for that type of life and has to be free to post what he wants...
The moment Simon decided to be with Wilhelm, he technically accepted everything that came with it. It was unspoken but it was a package deal. No different than a regular person dating a celebrity. The media/fans are always going to talk about you like they know you and your relationship when they don't. Problem was Wille and Royal Court did not do a good job of sitting Simon down to prepare him to handle this situation and everything that comes with it. At the same time, royal court didn't properly prepare Wille to be CP either. There's always going to be scrutiny when dating someone in the spotlight. There's no escaping that. Either the person can accept that or they don't.
@@iceastone the thing is, wille’s role was the issue from the start. So when Simon eventually decided to be with Wille, he did it under the assumption they would be together as a secret. But then wille revealed it to the world without really speaking to Simon about it. So technically Simon did NOT sign up for the scrutiny. He didn’t sign up for it when he feel in love with wille as a person even though he hated his family, he didn’t sign up for it when he slept with wille and the video was leaked, and he didn’t sign up for it when they decided to get back together
@@rubyi2677 Simon knew Willie's position when they met. He was a public figure. He accepted it. Only reason they had a secret relationship was b/c of Wille's position until Simon decided he didn't want to be a secret anymore. Yes, Wille outed them to the world, which is what Simon really wanted. Simon knew who he was and lived his life freely. Wille did not. Wille wasn't ready but he made that step at the end of S2. When you love someone, yes you love that person as an individual regardless but Wille wasn't just a person, he was CP too. Simon may not have liked it, but it was Wille's life, his family's life. That doesn't go away just b/c you love someone. Loving Wille meant dealing with life in the spotlight, whether he liked it or not. Simon was willing to continue a secret relationship for Wille b/c he loved Wille. Wille said enough was enough and was honest with the world, himself and Simon by outing them. That had consequences and S3 showed that. It was never going to be easy, which is why it was unrealistic with the whole "love shouldn't be this hard" line. Anyone with experience could tell you that it takes more than love to make a relationship to work, whether with parents, friends, lovers, it takes a lot of time and effort for any relationship to be successful. I also think that's part of the idealism for teens to believe that's all you need when they fall in love, especially the first time.
I agree and personally think the blame falls on the Royal Court. As soon as Wille made their relationship public, they should have assigned Simon a PR person and extra security. Yes, Simon knows that Wille is famous, but he wasn't AND isn't getting training to deal with the situation. Wille announced their relationship publicly without consulting Simon. He didn't sign up for that.
I’ve watched this pair’s reactions for some time now. I love their soft tones, poised (yet sometimes emotional) response and the courteousness they show each other. Not to mention their obvious mutual affection 😙. Very refreshing - please guys, keep this recipe’s ingredients, YT should commission a how-to-react video from you.

Communication in all of the relationships is so disjointed. The love is there but someone has to be about to fall off the edge before the other one listens. Simon is so lost before his mom hears how broken he is. Wille is stressed about his mother and what that means for him that he can’t see what is happening with Simon. Wille and Simon get a lovely moment together but at the end, like you noticed, Simon doesn’t really believe he can trust Wille. He hasn’t been there for him. Wille only tells him what he does wrong. August has some good moments here. There looks like there could be a chance of redemption but it’s so hard to tell if he’s doing it for Sara or for himself.

I really enjoyed the first season, but now in the third season I find myself annoyed that it is the same issues over and over again. Like, everyone needs to take two deep breaths before talking and needs to say two more sentences when talking.

@@ahuggie I think what annoyed me most about their communication (or lack there of) in s3 is that *it was never this bad before.* The amount of scenes that I was like “God, this conversation is like the stupid Bluray screen. The words are just bouncing around and once in a blue moon, they actually hit the corner and say something actually reasonable!” Like, I got to the point where I kinda stopped wanting WilMon to be endgame because I simply couldn’t see them lasting long term.
Also *spoilers!!* I kinda hope they go to different schools post-s3 (even though I know the series is done for good now) because I think the long distance may do them some good - if they really want to stay together, a long distance relationship would force them to talk more.
To clarify, this isn’t to say I think they didn’t have their moments of poor communication in s1-2, because they absolutely did, but it was usually just on major things (like the pills or Simon being a secret for 2 years), or when everything very suddenly felt like it was falling apart around them and they were already not on great terms (like Simon’s solo or Wilhelm kissing Felice). But, think about how they were communicating in s1 during the Lucia scene, or just after The Video leaked but before Wilhelm denied it, or even the 1.06 breakup. Then in s2, the deterioration in communication on some things made sense - they were exes of course they weren’t just going to immediately talk to each other again like nothing happened, but there was still the 2.05 ‘Holy’ scene where they talk about Simon going to the police, and the cloakroom ‘I love you’ scene in 2.06.
Their communication seems to be at its best after they’ve miscommunicated in s1-2, but in s3 they seem to just *not communicate.* Like, *spoilers!!* how have we finished Young Royals for good, and yet Wilhelm never found out about Micke??? It just feels unfinished? Idk though, I have a lot of more subtext related issues with s3 (mainly the fact that they gave Simon a very traumatic backstory in the subtext, used it as a political metaphor, and then *never revealed it in the text.* I just feel hurt on Simon’s behalf for that. Plus, for a series with a theme of “hushing up vs speaking out”, you’d think they’d finally let the victim of a horrific crime speak to *someone* about what happened to them, but no).
@@RedBanana_ I'm annoyed because it feels like miscommunication is the only plot driver. All the conflict in the show could have been avoided with a few entirely reasonable sentences.

this final episode was emotional and beautiful to watch you can tell how much they love each other and the memories that they shaerd together and they both been though so much together and now they can live happy after for the rest of there lifes and be free for now and for ever the acters writers and every one was apart of this beautiful show its was perfect and i cryed in this final episode and they never be forgotten they will be in our lives and in our hearts for now and for ever and there passion there chemistry was so beautiful just love it thankyou for reacting this beautiful show. and do u have season 3 over on your patron i love to see your fall reactions
Yes, Swedish and German words are quite similar, really enjoy to see the differences and similarities. Sometimes in Sweden we say that Sweden is like a mini Germany, there are a lot of cultural similarities. Great reaction as always, can't wait for the next!

The comments about bad communication in series are so funny to me, because who are you people who communicate so effectively in all situations of your lives? A lot of adults don't, let alone teenagers. People say things they don't mean and don't say what they really mean constantly. It's part of being human. Otherwise you end up with those shows where everyone sounds like they just got out of a therapy session. 😅
I actually get ur point but also let’s be realistic they all need to have a conversation abt some stuff to make it easier like wilmon barley have any communication in all 3 seasons it’s either them fighting or being okay with each others few days after and Lisa could definitely make them have more deeper conversations something that we will see how it’s change for the better the relationship
Like they only 16 which might be unrealistic to think they can openly talk abt some stuff but sometimes there’s just scenes with unnecessary drama which could solved with some comfort between the two characters or a small talk either way I loved that show

I totally agree that their bad communication is very realistic for teenagers and young adults. The comment: "They should communicate! /They should have communicated this better." is still very true. There is no contradiction there.
Also a commenter saying how it would have been communicated better gives people something useful for real life.

4:32 I took German in high school many many years ago, but remember a few things (I could never quite “get” German grammar). But I did notice a few words that were similar in Swedish. Like “förstå” and “verstehen” seem like they came from similar root words. I lived in Belgium for about a year and noticed similarities there too (Flemish/Dutch and German).

I started learning Swedish because of Young Royals; many words and the word order are quite similar to German.

Yes, season 2! Can't remember the episode, but I remember they make a point of showing Stella also putting her hair up, making it clear that the headmistress had only called out (and probably only noticed) Felice.
It's not their first time. It's just the first time we see them do so, as a publicly open and official couple. Lisa said in an interview that the intimate scene was not gratuitous. It was a deliberate decision to show the audience that the characters' relationship has taken a more mature tone, especially with all the serious issues they're now having to deal with, together and individually, in this season. They're growing up, in every way.

It’s sad that Farima and the Royal Court is making Wilhelm do all the dirty work and have to keep telling Simone all the things he can’t do. Which then puts Wille in a hard place. They should have coached Simone themselves. Not make Wille be the bad guy all the time. It shows they don’t care about their relationship or take it serious.
Agreed, but I think it was Wille who wanted to be “in control” when it comes to Simon and tell him in a nice way the way he should act. But at this point Fatima should step in and give Simon a coaching session

Guys, I love all your reaction videos very much, you are one of my the most favourites, but why don't you pause the movie when you talk too long? Sometimes you miss some nuances, and especially Young Royals is the serie where almost every frame is important, every sentence...Please, don't take me wrong, I really love all your comments.
Thank you and we will try and take this feedback on board. Usually we try to avoid interrupting the flow of the episode by pausing, but in the next episode you’ll see there’s one scene where we rewind, because we didn’t catch everything and it seemed important.
A lot of people Watching the show seems to forget sara has autism and doesn't perceive situation like Everyone. Yes she also made bad choices but she is a more complexe character than just making bad choices.

Hey guys! Another great reaction! I'm curious with what Panos said about the German and Swedish languages having similarities, can you understand some of what's being said in the show?
This season is doing its best to redeem August. They're doing a really good job at it, too. August has made some truly awful decisions throughout the first two seasons, and we have known about the struggles he's faced, with his father's untimely passing. His mother's seemingly indifference to him. The pursuit of perfection, both physically and with power. He's put himself in a very stressful environment, and that has led to some very poor choices on his part.
Simon, especially this season is also making poor decisions. He's now been thrust into this new reality where he's known throughout the country if not the world. He's a teenager who already feels like the weight of the world is bearing down on him, but in the world of social media, everything has just exploded, and he just can't help himself to read the comments and respond to them.
Wille has already shown the amount of stress he's feeling, especially since Erik's death, and just when it seems like this is under control, the Queen has a mental breakdown, which now puts Wille back in the spotlight.
Our boys just can't catch a break!!

Some words in swedisch that sound smiliar in german have an other meaning. For example "snälla" which means "please" in swedish sounds like the german "schneller" (faster).

As you correctly said, some words sound the same but have a very different meaning and some other words actually do sound very similar and also have the same meaning.
@@therainbowreels I've always been interested in learning the German language. My last name is very German. My Mom's maiden name was very German. Maybe one day I'll learn the language of my ancestors. I'm learning Spanish now. Being in the US, I encounter many more Spanish speakers than German, so it just makes sense to learn Spanish. However, learning German or not, I plan on visiting there for the first time in the next year or two. It looks like a beautiful country. This year, I'm going to London and El Salvador (where I'll get to try out my Spanish). I've never been to either of those places, so I'm very excited to visit!
