I believe the people who made the Barbie movies sold the company after Diamond Castle. It might’ve been after 3 musketeers though. That was around the time I lost interest in them and I think a lot of others did too. You can tell something changed in the writing though because it went from such deep, meaningful messages to the stereotypical fake Barbie. Like “Barbie charm school” or “princess and the popstar” etc. Even the voice actors changed. Diamond Castle was the last good one imo. It makes me sad but at least the old movies still exist for us and our future kids lol

So much good memories and it saddens me the recent Barbie movies don't seem to give the same effect to this generation. i grew up with these movies. i am 32 years old now. and i still love to sing these songs and watch these movies. these movies are for everyone no matter how old you are. it just brings magic and makes your heart all warm and cozy just watching and listening to these movies.

When they said Barbie movies are boring and cliché , they haven't watch the best ones. The songs has so much meanings that kids like me enjoyed due to the tune and now I'm a teenager and still enjoyed the music, not only the tune but its meaning too.

I think this song also gives you a message when a new family member arrives in your family and young children or even teenagers might think the others won't care for them anymore. It tells them not to think that that because it isn't true.
