I feel as a multi-tasker and seller of bath and body, crochet and more that (just) posting on Facebook and Instagram daily causes a lot of stress for everyone. I have a real day job, I have three locations that I sell and a CZcams platform. It is very difficult to create a CZcams video. The setup, lighting, the wording, the editing, and what content can take two full days to achieve. I feel people now of days are click happy and impatient. You’re only as good as the first 15 min of that and they just move on. Everything you said is correct. The good thing is your videos will be there for as long as you want them to. If you decide to make something else, you can always hop on. Having a baby is enough right now. It’s good you posted this honest and real video because it’s totally understandable. I think it’s straightens you right up like a stiff drink when Etsy shuts you down for a few words they don’t like when they’re making money off you daily. No one cares, who cares right!? I woke up real quick and created a different strategy. My thoughts are, you enjoy your life. You did good and will still be seen and appreciate by those that love this art. We love it there’s no doubt. Congratulations on your new baby 5 months and you be proud of yourself. I’ll keep watching and we will all keep checking back at your recent work to help us out when needed.

I hate CZcams for content creation because I HATE to be on camera. I truly appreciate everything that you've taught me so far! Time does fly and your family is the most important thing ever! I missed solo much of my children’s lives due to events beyond my control, as stupid as it sounds… not to be in control over your own children’s lives. I must say, I'm sad you're done because I started to macrane just months ago with you!
It’s understandable that when you love your craft, you want to share it with other people. You’ve done that beautifully on your channel. As a retired teacher, I can say that you have that natural talent of conveying ideas in a very precise and detailed manner making it easy to follow your instructions. I think it’s natural to want to expand your interests and see what other forms of art are out there. I’ve done beadwork, Kumihimo, bead knitting, beaded knitting, crochet, bead crochet, macramé, rock wrapping, embroidery, and a few more. I’m very sorry, though, that you aren’t making enough to reflect the amount of time and effort it takes to make and edit the videos. I watch a lot of videos on YT and you are top notch. Thank you for sharing this. I stopped making macrame in 2020 for 1.5 years after I gave birth to my son. It was a challenging time to juggle a new baby and deal with the lock down. I gave up on macrame and embraced being a mum full time (I love my son more then words can say. I feel blessed everyday I that he chose me to be his mummy). On one evening in 2022, over dinner, my partner asked me "why have you stopped making macrame?". I said that it was too much, I couldn't do it all. I was already doing so much (looking after our son, housework, cooking, laundry, playgroups etc). Then he asked me this questions: "If time, money and circumstances wasn't an issue, what would you want to do? Who would you want to be?" I sat back with a sense of relief and wonder. I really though about it... Then I said " I want to make a music video with all these different women wearing macrame dresses, dancing and feeling beautiful, sexy and empowering!" I dared to dream big, then bigger then even bigger! I set deadlines and agreed to do projects that I had no idea HOW I would complete. I involved my son in the process and things started to come true, one by one. Multiple fashion shows in London and Dubai, pop-up shops, macrame classes in London, online macrame tutorials, teaching macrame at retreats in the Maldives (all expenses covered :)) I was able to make good money with macrame and have now built VIITTA HOUSE - a macrame crafting community, that is expanding everyday. What I want to ask you is this: "If time, money and circumstances wasn't an issue - what would you want to do?" Just do that. Follow your heart and do just that. All my love Violetta

You're doing the right thing, of course you should be dedicating all your time to your baby. That's the most important thing. And you being honest about it is just very healthy. I can imagine how tyring it must be to manage all the work around a youtube channel. You're being so realistic with it all, and it makes so much sense that you do your macrame passionately, without the constrainments of having to make a vídeo, without having to sell it.. (I also do a lot of macrame, now more micro macrame, and im also terrible at selling) so I understand what you mean. I just want to say Life is so short so take this time in your life to do you spend as much time with your baby as possible cause trust me they arw not small long. I just stumbled on your videos while looking for better directions on how to do macramé, because I bought a kit for my clients to do, and the directions are awful. You spiked my interest in doing macramé. I fully understand why you want to step back, possibly permanently. And I’m very grateful that you’re going to leave your videos up. You are going to be truly missed but I understand. I've been making jewelry for 12 years now and just recently I'm starting to feel like I don't have the motivation for it anymore so I'm trying to go into other things. One of them being macrame. I used to do macrame when I was younger but I had stopped and went into making jewelry now I'm going back into doing macrame. I never made big things. I only did like keychains and bracelets but now I'm learning to do wall hanging, just average size ones not humongous big ones or anything like that, So I understand how you're feeling but still the same you will be truly missed. Decorated cookies, cakes, gum paste flowers, candy making, knitting, crochet, Tunisian crochet, sewing, cross stitch, paper beads, origami , fish keeping; the list goes on. You are going to be truly missed but I understand. I've been making jewelry for 12 years now and just recently I'm starting to feel like I don't have the motivation for it anymore so I'm trying to go into other things. One of them being macrame. I used to do macrame when I was younger but I had stopped and went into making jewelry now I'm going back into doing macrame. I never made big things. I only did like keychains and bracelets but now I'm learning to do wall hanging, just average size ones not humongous big ones or anything like that, So I understand how you're feeling but still the same you will be truly missed. Have fun with your baby. Enjoy her growth. Enjoy your life 😊

Follow your passions! The truth is…I watched your channel because you are an interesting content creator, not necessarily because it was macrame. Hopefully you find some new passions to share with us down the road! Enjoy your time with your precious new baby…they grow up far too quickly! Thank you so much for all of your tutorials and for teaching me so many wonderful techniques and for always taking the time out to message me on Instagram! i am so proud of you to make this decision as I’m sure it wasn’t the easiest! I am so happy for you becoming a new mom - that is such wonderful news to hear! Life goes by way too quickly and we all need to focus on the things we love to do!

That can definitely happen, maybe it was partly that for me and partly that I simply got new hobbies and things to do...
@@annabaginova01 I understand. I get in to a new hobby and purchase all the tools I need, semi master that hobby and then move on. Decorated cookies, cakes, gum paste flowers, candy making, knitting, crochet, Tunisian crochet, sewing, cross stitch, paper beads, origami , fish keeping; the list goes on. The only one I practice regularly is the fish keeping. I do love my aquariums.
