Kronii's pronunciation is the canon one and I say this as a Sapling.
I think there was an anime episode that showed the Gym-leader picking what pokemons to use, depending on the amount of badges the opponent had.
That's definetly true. I dont remember for which gen but I think It was Volkner in gen 4, but I could be wrong about who It is.
@@luizeduardogueths8255 It was in the first episode of "Pokémon Origins", rather than the main anime. Brock asks Red if he has any badges yet, and after hearing he doesn't he takes two Poké Balls from a larger selection and says he'll use just them.
Yeah. I really like that episode from Origins because it's a solid answer to a question I always had, even if it isn't necessarily canon.

Yeah I wish they showed that more, I also wish we got to see different match ups. Like in the game we fight gym leader A as our first gym battle but in the anime they fight them as one of the last. This way we can actually see what those gym leaders we think are weak in the game have up their sleeves if they had been challenged later on. But it's a show and game marketed primary for kids so guess they want to avoid complicating it too much...

don't be, the team gym leader use especially early gym aren't usually their "best" team, so they have to adjust. Like Cheren went from his usual in white to just have 2 pokemon in white 2 and he even comment on it after you beat him

It's been confirmed in the pokemon red anime that gym leaders actual adjust their team according to how many badges you have. Just so people starting at different towns who try the closest gym wont get steamrolled by stronger pokemon.
And it would make sense even earlier than that because, back in GSC, when you refight the Kanto leaders they have a MUCH more expansive roster to bring into battle against the newest Champion of the combined region.

Honestly it's what makes Pokemon Origins was so good, because it has Brock actively prepare a team for Red with the idea being to challenge him without completely wiping the floor with him as a new trainer, implying that's what all gym leaders do

What Fauna said about gym leaders not fighting at full capacity is kind of true, IIRC there was one scene in Pokemon anime where brock adjusted his party according to the challenger's Gym Badge count.. taking only 2 out of the visible 4(or more) pokemon he has on his Gym.
Also, in Black2/White2, you can start PWC and fight Gym leaders with their Competitive Pokemon Setups. Where even Cheren, the three Simi Gym leader is actually challenging. The Gym is there to Train you, not whoop your asses
Champion and Elite 4 are there to Whoop your ass, and the PWC/Battle Tower/similar setups is where trainers whoop each others asses

Fauna monotype is gonna be interesting the next gyms battles.
I think aside from the 2nd and 7th gym, she's not going to have too hard of a time. She's probably going to have a Torterra by the time she gets to the 3rd gym, so that wont be a big problem. 4th is going to be a walk in the park, 5th is going to be okay as well, 6th she has Torterra so probably going to be fine, and 8th Torterra wrecks as well. The most difficult fights aside from 2nd and 7th gyms are probably going to be Cyrus last fight, Aaron, Flint and Cynthia, and I'm looking forward to seeing how Fauna does against them!

Nah, he's tougher here. Sturdy didn't work like a Focus Sash back then, and back then his Pokemon's moves were whatever the default moves they knew at that level plus the TM.
What on earth is Reine's naming scheme? I get that Diana and Jumpy are probably Zero Escape references, but what's 'DBSL' and '111.psd'?
DBSL means "Dope Based Super Lit", and the "111.psd" comes from that Shinx being the second one she caught, so she named it the same way she names her multiple .psd files (Photoshop).

Is Cranidos nerfed in this game? Bcs in Platinum i need 3 hits with razor leaf to kill it and got 2 shoted by it's headbutt when our pokemon at the same level but now it's the opposite
