Thank God they survived. Too many people either not paying attention at Yellowstone (and other National Parks) or taking unnecessary risks by ignoring warnings and regulations. About 6 years ago, we were leaving the Lake Hotel area and a carload of tourists from Korea turned left into an oncoming truck pulling a 40 ft trailer, sending the trailer and tow vehicle into the trees across the main road and rupturing the gas tank on their vehicle, which ended up burning to the ground. They had to be held back from trying to retrieve personal items from a burning vehicle. They were all lucky no one was hurt. Every time we go (there last summer), someone gets gored or tossed, someone gets burned, or someone crashes. I am convinced that people are leaving their brains and common sense at home when they go on vacation and expecting the NP rangers to save them when they run into trouble.

Let's talk about Mt. St Helens' issue..in connection to Yellowstone? Seems those Cascade Mts are acting up, as well as the earthquakes and fires, dead fish, and washing up on the West Coast.. something is up.. or will be.
So, what if the SUV dislodged the rocks that were plugging the geyser for the past 102 years, and we suddenly have a 300 foot geyser 18 feet from the road. 😁
My second thought is that looks more like a pond / lake than a geiser that spits water up into the air. But I guess looks are very deceptive in Yellowstone.
My oldest son has taken all four of his children to every state in the Union including Alaska and Hawaii. Two of his children are autistic. One more so than the other. But he’s put his whole life into helping his children. They were in the Grand Canyon when my daughter ( his sister was killed) he flew home but had them stay and then he flew back to them.
i heard Richard Simmons passed away. one of my many jobs 40+ was at QVC i was working one day on the rotating stage he was doing one of his dance videos asked if i wanted to dance then picked me up started carrying my there im like richard i really got work to do.. 😂 lol finally he put me down. he was a really nice person. shame ge dropped out of site 10 years ago. i found pics the other day from there. carol channing was nice also.
peoples driving habbits are nothing like when i started in the 70's also cars are so distracting now. no car should have a TV Screen in the middle... how can anyone keep eyes on the road??
